i hate to do this

but i don’t think i have a choice.

so my laptop crapped out on me today, and it could cost anywhere upwards of $800 to fix. i looked into just buying a cheaper laptop instead but as a computer science/information science minor, that just won’t cut it for a lot of my classes.

i know i’m not a content creator and i can’t offer art or writing or anything but i don’t know what else to do. i wouldn’t be doing this if i had literally any other options. unfortunately an ivy league education doesn’t come cheap and as a result my family and i are usually very strapped for cash. i come from a single income household. i’m working 15 hours a week, taking 24 credits, and i can’t not have a laptop. i don’t know what i can do without one. i need to continue to do work and get my gpa up so i can keep my scholarships. i have some money saved up from working this summer but a lot of it has gone towards paying my student loans off. i know this is a long shot and i don’t expect to reach the full amount but please please please donate if you can (or reblog this post if you can’t?), i would really, truly appreciate it.
