Monster

Summary: You and Eleven were both experimented on and escaped together to Hawkins. You were in hiding and the last thing you expected was to meet a particularly confident bad boy with a secret heart of gold. (Billy Hargrove x reader)

Warnings: some violence

Word Count: 4.8k

You couldn’t quite tell if you hated being kept away from practically everyone in Hawkins or if it was just being kept away from Billy. It wasn’t like you didn’t understand why you couldn’t talk to him, or be friends with him, but you hated isolation.

It’s taken you years to break out with El. She was the last straw for you. You could handle the experiments. You could handle being locked in a dark cell for weeks at a time, but seeing her go through the same thing broke your heart. Eventually you’d convinced her to break out and the two of you went on the run. Truthfully, you’d have taken anything over being in that place, getting experimented on practically every damn day.

You’re abilities weren’t exactly stress free, and to you they felt generally unhelpful.

You were able to heal anyone and bring things back from the dead (well, only small animals like mice seemed to be able to come back to the real world).

To the untrained eye this might seem like an incredible ability, to be able to stop peoples suffering and take care of the people you love. But everything comes with a price.

Bad Guy

Summary: Billy was a bad boy. You did not go for the bad boy... and you absolutely did not let him weasel his way into your heart. (Billy Hargrove x reader)

Warnings: profanity

Word Count: 4,689 (I got carried away with how much I love this man)

You’d met in school when he first arrived to Hawkins, stepping out of his car with those tight jeans and a cigarette hanging from his lips. Everything about him screamed ‘stay away at all costs’. You watched him walk around like he owned the place and told yourself you’d never fall for that.

Steve also told you from the get-go to avoid him, and since he used to be king dickhead of the school, you followed his advice.

That was until you got a job as a lifeguard at apparently the same pool as Billy. How ironic, and entirely predictable given your continuous string of karma you’d carried with you your entire life.

You distinctly remember sitting in the chair beside the pool, burning up in the hot sun, wondering if you really needed the money that bad. He’d strolled up beside you, it definitely wasn’t his turn to be on watch so you tried to ignore him.

Have a Little Faith

Summary: A red string has been wrapped around your pinky finger your entire life... finally, you find where it leads. (Loki x reader)

Warnings: none

Word count:1,569

A single string, red, faint and thin, no one else can see it. It wraps around your pinky finger and shoots up into the clouds. You couldn’t recall a time you didn’t have this as no one else ever commented on it, or seemed to have one of their own. You couldn’t grab and and there was no way to remove it.

You spent your entire teenager years thinking about it, wondering what in the hell it meant and where the other end of it was.

It took years before you told yourself you were sick of it, but it lingered in the back of your mind. Especially during the times all your friends started dating, and you couldn’t for the life of you figure out why you’d taken interest in no one. Not even slightly. No one sparked your interest. You worried for a time that you may have just been too picky, or full of yourself.

Your friends whined about how boring you were, you’d never talk about other people and came to the conclusion that maybe these friends of yours weren’t exactly the nicest.

You were grateful to leave school, being an adult was the best part of your life and you cut ties with most of your so called friends.

I Knew It

Summary: You were new to Queens and Peter could sense there was just something different about you. (Peter Parker x reader)

Warning: none

Word Count: 1,248

You were new at school, with crippling social anxiety and an image fear of being in any type of spotlight. Yet here you were, brand new in Queens at a new school wishing you could disappear. Well this is actually what you were doing to disappear.

When you lashed out at your parents over an argument and clenched your first in a fit of rage, the last thing you expected were all the windows to shatter around you and the lightbulbs to burst above you.

You mother couldn’t stop screaming, calling you a freak of nature. That night you packed your bags and got the hell out of there. You unfortunately had no money and ending up robbing a gas station (not your proudest moment) and got on a bus to get as far away as you could.

When you arrived in Queens, you first got a job at some tiny little shop hiring anyone (no experience required, thank god) and started your new life as a lost teen with an apparent ability to break windows.

Not a Chance

Summary: Billy Hargrove is not going to fall for you. No way. Not a chance.... right? (Billy Hargrove x reader)

Warning: slight profanity

Word Count: 1,740

He told himself he’d never go after you. As soon as he arrived in this shit town he knew he was not good for you. He’d avoid you at every chance, you’d smile at him when you walked pass him in the hall and he’d quickly look away. You’d offer him a pencil in class and he felt himself blush, he’d later cuss himself out for acting like a dumbass.

He’d watch you from across the room, a beaming smile on your face and a skip in your step. You always looked so optimistic and he’d remind himself of how different you two were. That there was no chance in hell you’d ever get together. He’d avoid you forever and that was that.

Of course, the world was not on his side as he’d arrive to work and find out the new trainee was you, of all the people in the world. He chuckled to himself at the irony and apparent fate bestowed upon him.

You showed up with that same old joyful personality and the manager decides Billy will be the one to train you. It wasn’t a surprise since the manager truly was a lazy piece of shit.

The Time Traveler’s Hunter (part 3)

Summary: Sam and Dean never expected a time traveler to enter their lives, especially not once they could grow feelings for. (Dean Winchester x Reader) (Sam Winchester x Reader)

Warnings: none

Word count: 1,119

You glanced down at the bodies laid across the floor, blood puddled around them. Tears welled up in your eyes before you quickly turned away from the family you had loved and lost so violently.

You ran out of the room with tears streaming down your face, only stopping when you ran into the 8 year old you standing in the hall.

“What, what happened?? Who are you?!” Your young self screamed at you, attempting to push past you into the horrid scene scattered across the floor in the room behind you.

You immediately reached down, wrapping your arms around this innocent, fragile version of yourself.

“You can’t go in there” you pleaded, your arms squeezing tighter around the 8 year old you, the one screaming and crying.

The Time Traveler’s Hunter (part 2)

Summary: Sam and Dean never expected to run into a time traveler, especially not one they could grow feelings for. (Dean Winchester x Reader) (Sam Winchester x Reader)

Warnings: none

Word Count: 1,089

“You’re actually here..?” Sam asked you as he stepped slowly towards you, Dean following behind him.

“Uhh... yes, I think so” you laughed before you scratched the back of your head. “Who are you guys?” You asked once again.

“Oh! Right, uh- I’m Sam Winchester... this is my brother, Dean” Sam replied as he held out a hand, smiling as you shook it.

“This is so crazy” Dean muttered, still being unable to hide his surprise.

And finally it clicked... they knew you. You must have time travelled. Crap. Ellen and Jo can’t I know about that.

“Can I talk to you guys outside for a sec?” You asked, already beginning to turn towards the door.
