I'm genuinely disappointed and horrified about the hh-m news. The cottagecore to transphobia pipeline is real, huh, and basic respect for people doesn't exist. Should I check every single blog I follow or interact with for their secret opinion on trans people? Or if they had an old terf blog they buried? Or a sideblog? Or a comment in a youtube video they deleted later? How about every single blog that follows me. How about every commenter on my AO3 stories. How about that.

Please, please everyone: if you notice me reblogging from TERF or cryptoTERF blogs, tell me. I don't want to be around such people.

Yes, if I ever engage with TERFS please tell me

Also if you find TERFS engaging with my posts.

Same goes for racists, antisemities, islamophobes and other bigots of course!

I don't want them around me OR my friends

(you don't have to go through my notes. But if you stumble across someone by accident or something)

478.8m of yarn!

4-ply / WPI: 22 / 154.3 kg

South German Merino

Spun and plyed on a wheel

And some nice detail shots

So, I have 4 skeins of this yarn now.

And I wanted to crochet a hoodie. But I revisited the pattern and noticed, that I'm 1000m short. ONETHOUSAND

HOW did I manage to get the math so wrong!??? That's 2 skeins missing!! 300g missing! (And I only have 179g diving left, so I can't even spin the rest)

And it's already soaking for the dye. I guess I'll have to find a different pattern... Kind of miffed, I was exited for this, and my husband too :(

The soup was a success!

There was a time where it looked grey-black, where I was almost scarred. But I think this turned into a very nice green!

Now I have to wait for it to dry, and then I can wind it, and knitt it 😌

All caked up! Also a pretty accurate depiction of the color???

(note: analogue the yarn is not that shiny)

All right! Sick time

It's 18:19 let's see how long I take for one sock

No socks today, too loud :(

But I knitted 20 rows of 72 stitches in like 5 minutes.

Alright 40 rows of 1/1 ribbing done. Now I have to transfer the stitches to the back, and then for the round, to knit in the round until I'm far enough for the heel

Made a mistake so now I'm taking a break

I made, SO MANY more mistakes.

BUT I finally figured everything out and now have 20 rows of 1/1 ribbing and 10 rows of stockinette in the round. Now the husband is at home, so now I'll play some videogames

I knitted a heel!!! But now I'll take a break

Pleas insert manic laugh here

A SOCK

There are so many mistakes, but that's fine, it's basically a whole new set of skills,

I knitted 80 rows in the same time it took my husband to shave and pee. This is insane. I'll never knitt plain socks in any other way

Also it's decrease time

My Passap got a spa day yesterday.

I removed every single of the 180 needles and 180 pushers (no idea how they are named in English)

On both beds.

So in total I removed, cleaned oiled, and placed 720 small metall bits.

I also cleaned and oiled the locks and cleaned the beds.

So whenever I'm able to shake off the nightshift tiredness, I'll do a pair of socks!!!
