Akira Toriyama was a huge part of my childhood and sparked my love for art, anime, and manga. His Dragon Ball series was my first introduction to manga which also became my long time companion. Reading those books got me through my teenage years, not to mention fuelled my imagination and artistic side. I basically learned how to draw because of him, trying to emulate his style as much as possible. I figured I’d honour his legacy in the same light, a parody of him and his goofier doodles. RIP #AkiraToriyama, may your journey on Snake Way be safe 🐉⭐️✏️

Everyone gives Sherlock Holmes a hard time about being mean about Watson's writing, but honestly imagine you told your roommate "sure, you can write up an account of my work for the newspaper," thinking it would be like, about the murder, but then he publishes it and it's 90% about you, as a person, and it's a huge hit and now everyone in London knows that you hoard newspapers and do cocoaine when you're depressed. Because I think you'd be little miffed too.

While that's absolutely true, I'd like to point out a little detail I quite like: Holmes does admit in "The Blanched Soldier", a story narrated by himself, that writing a story in a way that's actually engaging to the reader, isn't as easy as he's always assumed:

"The ideas of my friend Watson, though limited, are exceedingly pertinacious. For a long time he has worried me to write an experience of my own. Perhaps I have rather invited this persecution, since I have often had occasion to point out to him how superficial are his own accounts and to accuse him of pandering to popular taste instead of confining himself rigidly to fact and figures. "Try it yourself, Holmes!" he has retorted, and I am compelled to admit that, having taken my pen in my hand, I do begin to realize that the matter must be presented in such a way as may interest the reader."

So it's nice to see Holmes give Watson at least some credit :D

I've noticed that people have started spreading the 1992 Good Omens script around. Please don't. If you've got it up, please take it down. There's a mess of serious and real legalities involved, and I don't want to have to start being a dick and asking for copyright takedowns and all of that, and I don't want to have to regret letting it out into the world. Just take it down, unshare, delete links. Thank you.
