Extremely Exhausted Starters

  • “You. Rest. Now.”
  • “You took five steps and need to sit down again?”
  • “I’m absolutely fine, I just need to sit down.”
  • “I just need to sit-what do you mean I’m already laying down?”
  • “Your eyes aren’t focusing. Just close them for ten minutes.”
  • “Write one sentence on this piece of paper, and then I’ll let you up.”
  • “I just need a breather, that’s all. Maybe ten. No fifteen.”
  • “We’re both so exhausted we can’t even argue about not being exhausted.”
  • “When I said I needed five more minutes I meant it more like hours.”
  • “… no… I’m tired… let me sleep… I don’t want to get up.”
  • “We need to get out of the heat, you’re starting to look sick.”
  • “You can’t hide those shaking hands from me. You need to stop.”
  • “I’m just a little cold, I’m okay, really. Let me sit with a blanket or something.”
  • “Moving…? No I’m good thanks.”
  • “Gravity has a hold on me of which I have not the strength to break.”
  • “Was… was that actually there? That wasn’t there was it?”
  • “I’ve had no energy for three days.”
  • “You worked yourself so hard that you’ve been sentenced to three days of bed rest.”
  • “Listen I can… I can get up. It’s fine.”
  • “If we’re both in this state, we both really screwed up somewhere huh?”
  • “I have energy for exactly one more person of favourable standing, and going the hell to bed. With or without that person, bed is happening.”
  • “You’ve struggled to move anything for the last hour.”
  • “This is what happens when you over exert yourself.”
  • “You were almost dead from pushing it too far!”
  • “I went a little overboard sure… but I’m still alive. So shh.”

One Hell Of An Incident

Gavin was quick to bury himself into the other, gripping with a steel-type grip, whimpering ever so quietly as they began to leave this terrible place. He kept his own wings folded tightly against his back, trying to avoid cutting Connor with his claw-like-nails, or causing any other issues for him. He was absolutely drowning in the angels comfort all the while, focusing primarily on his voice as they took off.

Once they landed, the arguably shorter creature set a shaky foot on the ground, shivering with his hands curled beneath his chin as he looked around, then back to Connor. He felt bad, seeing how exhausted he was.. Gavin merely nodded in response, and stayed close. “Okay..” It was nearly inaudible, so quiet.

Connor sighed and nodded. "Stay close. I'll take care of everyrthing." He said and began walking, he was slower than before because of the exhausion and just sighed as he just tried to get them into safe place as fast as possible. He sighed as they reached some fence. "We need to go through it." He said and looked at the other side. It was an abandoned building. Connor was living there?

Gavin stayed quiet, kept his head down, and followed as instructed. He hadn’t said anything for the longest time, instead, taking his time looking at the surroundings and environment. Once Connor stopped, the demon pressed into his back, not noticing the lack of movement in time to halt, himself. “Th..rough?” He repeated the other, grabbing hold on the fence and lightly pushing on it. He looked back at Connor with a somewhat endearing, yearning look. He was waiting for his idea..

Connor frowned as he watched the other walking into the fence. "Um.. Not like that..." he said and sighed. "I'll help you, alright?" He asked as he slowly walked closer. "Alright. Just hold tight." He said and wrapped his arms around the other.

He sighed and spread his wings out. They were numb and tired but they had to get through. He sighed and slowky began waving them after some time they landed on the other side of the fence and Connor just fell to his knees, panting and resting.

One Hell Of An Incident

Gavin shivered and shook, his heart beating through his chest as he listened to the others advice and care. He had a very hard time with the breaths, as his lungs were shaky, but he tried his best. He stepped closer, giving a small whine while closer his eyes. “I-It’s not-..”

It isn’t okay. He doesn’t know where he is, he doesn’t know how to get home, he hurt people, he doesn’t know if this angel belongs here more or less than he does, and if they do, how good is that for himself? His mind was filled to the brim with long, random, confusing as all hell rambles, and it didn’t slow down. His wings stayed curled up as he nervously whimpered, feeling all around unsafe, uncomfortable, and scared.

Connor shook his head. "Shhh..." he said and put a soft hand on other's back. "It's alright... We'll figure that out... But first you need to listen to me..." he said and rubbed small circles on the other's back. "Just listen to my voice and follow my breathing...." he added and continued breathing slowly and reasuring the other that everything was okay and that he was safe.

The demon could just barely focus, his shoulder blades raising greatly at the others comfort. His wings gave a hesitant flap, sorting themselves out, before he stepped closer and nuzzled straight into Connor, whimpering before attempting the breathing exercise. He was bad at it, but he tried. As Gavin is.. Incredibly impatient, he was very quick to speak again, finding his nervousness boiling in the quiet.

Mmmm-... Ttthhh- Ttthhhhh-! They were sca-ared of me-!..” He needs something to put his aggression into. He was fizzing over with angst, and unfortunately, Connor is the only one to hear it.

Connor frowned and gasped lightly but kept tryig to help the other calm down. "Shh... Shhhh..." he said and kept rubbing other's back. "I know... Some people are like that..." he said and sighed. He kept trying to calm the other down. How could he do it? He never calmed anyone before. He wasn't good at keeping himself calm! How could he keep someone else calm?

Gavin made a very shaky move, sliding both arms around Connor with hesitance, pulling them much closer together. His clingy action was motivated by sounds and rumbles in the near distance. Soon, they’ll have company. “I- I don’t want people, I don’t like people, I wanna go home-! I do-on’t like it here!..”

He was quick to use Connor as his own personal shield, ducking and hiding in his hold. Between shudders and shivers, he simply waited for the other to take some kind of action, as Gavins has already proven to be... Messy.

Connor gasped a little at being pulled closer and listened. "It's alright. There will be no people. It's okay." He tried to kind of lift the other up and began walking to the roof, on the way keeping his mantra of 'it's okay's and 'I'm right here's. Then as he finally got there he looked around. "Just hold onto me, okay? I'll take us somewhere safer." He said and unfolded his wings. They weren't big enough to get them too far. But they had to do this. He took a deepee breath and began waving them to fly to where he was hiding.

It was a good while later as he just had to land. His grip was weakening and his wings were too weak and tired of it all. He slowly landed barely holding himself up. "That's the furtherest I..." he blinked a few times. "... I can get." He ended and took a few deep breaths. "We'll need to walk a little bit. It's not hat far anymore...."

One Hell Of An Incident

———

Just as October began, so did a dangerous change. A silly night-time game similar to Hide and Seek alone, or, the use of a Ouija Board was played, this game leading straight to the very real, very dangerous summoning of a demon, directly from the fiery-depths the living fear so much. The naive teens to initiate the late-night curse out of sheer boredom were not to be seen or heard from again. Most of them. Only but one was able to flee the abandoned parking lot, racing back home, causing much commotion on their way. The blood soaking their clothes made for an excellent trail for the curious, or for the thirsty.

Connor was flying around. He didn't like this month. Everyone being crazy with Halloween stuff and just wanting to make their houses as scary as they could. He didn't like it. He liked that Christmas more. Though the snow wasn't too good. The view of people just smiling to each other was perfect.

He frowned as he saw a someone in bloody clothes just running throught the streets as fast as they could. He slowly landed, looking around if no one saw him and began following the trail.

Eventually, the trail would end inside a moldy, old, two-floored parking lot. Specifically, against a body. Or.. What’s left of it. Halloween is full of props, but this is too convincing. Especially with a, seemingly real monster down the way. A big mass of black feathers, sporting large, dangerous jaws with a deep mark over the bridge of its nose, and an olive-green, soul-killing glare. The moment it saw Connor, it’s pupils narrowed and sharpened as a wet, gurgled roar followed. It’s large feet with dagger-like claws began stomping against the pavement, the thing charging over in a bloody-rage.

...Except, as it came closer, that didn’t seem to entirely be the case. With each step, it’s shape shifted, slowly becoming more and more.. Human. The dark, sharp-feathered wings stayed, but before long, this menacing, dangerous monster, was simply.. Somewhat like Connor. He guarded himself with his wings and panted, keeping a scowl in his own defense. Connor is an angel, and angels help. This is common knowledge..

Connor frowned lightly and looked around, when he spottef the other he swallowed in fear and gasped as the other bagn coming closer. He tried to fly but his wings in fear didn't obey him. He covered himself with his wings and arms as he other stood in front of him.

He was scared... He closed his eyes and tried to breath a bit more calmly. "I-I-I- P-Please don't hurt me-"

The other whined, opening his own wings just a bit to lean forward, insisting to have the others attention. He was frustratingly frightened, something Connor will learn to recognize as a trend, raising his blood-covered hands to ask for the angels hand. For someone who just rampaged, he really doesn’t act vicious.

“Hhh-! Help-?!.. The- They-!” He was a jumbled mess, stepping closer with a shaky, anxious frown.

Connor frowned at the reaction and slowly uncovered himself from wings. He looked at the other up and down. "Alright, alright." He said trying to sound calming. He took the other's hand carefully and stood up. "Hey, hey... Deep breaths... Follow my breaths... In.... and... Out..." he said as he put other's hand on hsi chest.

"Everythinf is okay now..." he said and nodded lightly with small smile. "You won't be hurt..." he added and took a few more deep slow breaths.

Connor was on a fly when he met a pigeon that was trying to race with him. He was fast and even a lot faster then the pigeon but he let the animal win once or twice. He wouldn't just don't let the pigeon have some fun.

When he was slowly getting tired, he flew with the pigeon to some roof and lightly landed, folding his wings behind his back. "Well, that was extreme fly." He chuckled, straightening himself.

Connor looked at the bird curiously and took a few steps closer, looking at it. His wings were relaxed at his back as he watched the bird carefully. He was fascinated by it.

He relaxed and looked up at Rupert with small smile. He then looked back at the bird and watched it. He didn't see a bird from so close before. He always was scaring animals so he liked to be a few meters away.

He didn't move to touch or reach for the bord though. He didn't want to bother it or stuff like that. He just wanted to watch. His LED spinned softly in blue as he looked at the bird. He could learn something from them about his wings. It would really help him.

The bird only stopped briefly as Connor had moved closer, otherwise paying no mind to him and continuing to clean herself.

Rupert saw the wings on Connors back were relaxed, and wondered if perhaps they were a cause for animals to spooked due to body language appearing like Connor was threatening them unintentionally, let alone how come Connor had them in the first place. Certainly most Android's were not created and just given, a giant set of wings otherwise he would've seen at least one before.

"Your wings...where did they come from? I dont think they're common place" He asked, unable to help but reach out to try and feel them half expecting them to get some indicator of them being fake, but receiving none of that.

Connor smiled at the bird and relaxed even more. He liked birds. They were the closest animal that was smillar to him. He really didn't think he would be so close to any though.

He kept his hands close to himself to don't scare the bird. His eyes widened a little bit at the question. He really didn't like to talk about it. "I..." he started but cut himself off. He took a deeper breath and swallowed. "I'm sorry... if I freak out after that..." he said and wrapped his arms around himself. "T-There were still some androids of my model at CyberLife... After the revolution and... Connor 51... how did they say it...?" He asked himself and then continued. "Stealing the androids... They didn't trust our models anymore a-a-and-" he stopped as his voice began cracking and tears wanted to show in his eyes. "Th-They began k-killing us-" he choked out and flinched at the touch on his wings. They were very sensitive. "I-I woke up at s-some man's house wi-with these on my back-" he moved away from the pigeon. "I-I escaped a-and learnt how to live with them..." he said and swallowed. There were some tears in his eyes but he didn't want to let them fall.

"I-I watched them all die until it was my turn-" he swallowed as he began shaking. It was very touchy subject.
