A/N- I've been longing to write a story to go along with the lyrics of Lover by Taylor Swift. This is super fluffy and heartfelt and something I that gave me a break during a hard time. Sorry for any mistakes, I've been writing this a while and just wanted to finish it. Please enjoy.

Your head rests softly on his broad shoulders as you both sway to the music still playing. Most of the guests had already departed for the night, leaving you both with well wishes and congratulations.
You knew your parents and your new in-laws were organizing all the wedding presents while also instructing the venue staff how to remove the decorations. After months of planning everything was done.
You feel Hoseok breath a deep sigh into your hair as his arm is wrapped around you. Your bare feet following his after you finally were able to abandon your heels. The journey to your wedding had been filled with both laughter and stress. Even your proposal seemed like a roller coaster

You're sitting crisscrossed staring at your tree. Since it's New Years you're technically supposed to be putting your beloved tree back in the box to preserve for next year. Instead you're procrastinating and pouting on the carpet.
"Sweetheart, I made it back." You hear Hoseok call as he walks through the door. His cheeks are rosy as he dusts little snowflakes out of his fluffy hair.
Neither of you felt like cooking that evening, so Hobi has offered to grab some soup for the night. As he turns to walk toward the kitchen he catches your eye as you're watching him. "Honey you should be working on the tree not staring at me." he laughs lightly, disappearing into the other room.
You roll your eyes a bit, but suppress a chuckle. "I don't wanna, it's too beautiful this year." you call after him before going back and staring at the illuminated tree.
You had already dimmed the lights, so the tree lights gave the living room a warm glow. "Honey, you're usually the one in a rush to get everything all tidy." Hobi says as he comes back munching on a piece of bread. "What was it again about starting the year with a clean house?"
"I know, I know, it just feels different this time." You sigh and turn your head back to watch the tree again. The reflections of the ornaments sparkle as the light bounces against the walls.
Hoseok slips behind you and wraps his arms around your waist, head resting in your shoulder. You can't help but smile as you admire the closeness, it makes you feel fuzzy inside.
"It's our first one together, ya know." you grin at the thought of the two of you putting all the decorations up. "I think that's why I feel like it's too pretty to take down just yet." you chuckle at your self. "Hell I might keep it up all year." you joke.
You hear him chuckle as well. "I mean some people do an have Christmas in July." he remarked before kissing your neck softly. Grinning you scrunch your nose a bit trying to suppress a ticklish laugh. You feel like you couldn't be any more content then you are right now wrapped in Hobi's arms. "It's too perfect." you say softly as you close your eyes.
"You know we can do this next year too." he mused quietly. "And the year after that." He kissed your neck. "And the one after that," He kissed the side of your head. "And for the rest of our lives." He breathed into your hair. "How does that sound?" he stills waiting on your response.
"Like heaven." you smile imagining your life together.
"That's great." Hobi says softly. The quiet of the night briefly takes over before he finally says. "Cause I wanna ask you to marry me."
Your eyes widen a bit and you try to turn yourself to look at his face. "Really?" you almost whisper.
Hoseok grins, "Yeah," he says before scooting away to pull out a dainty silver ring. He takes a second to shift to one knee before smiling at you again.
"From the moment I saw you, an extraordinary light entered my life. You brought colors to my world, hues I never knew existed. Every beat of my heart dances to the rhythm of your presence."
"Darling, from the moment I met you, my days have been filled with sunshine. You're the ray of light that chases away my worries and fills my world with warmth. I can't imagine my future without you by my side."

He took a deep breath before looking up at her. "Will you marry me?"
You stare down at him in shock as you feel overwhelmed by joy. Tears start to roll do ' Yes!' You shout before flinging yourself into him as you wrap your arms around his neck. 'Forever yes.' you exclaim before kissing him.
Hoseok smiles into your lips, savoring the moment under the tree, and as you both pull apart, he softly slides the ring onto your finger.

That moment two years ago solidified the future you both were now in. Rocking back and forth with your new husband enjoying a moment of peace. A concept that didn't seem possible after the chaos of wedding planning.
Telling your friends and family was the start. Both of you had chosen to keep most of your relationship private, to prevent prying eyes and gossip. Living in the public eye was no joke, and neither you or Hoseok had been in a rush to allow the world into your relationship.
Everyone was overjoyed for your both, and as you and Hoseok got closer, the more and more you got to know the members.

All Hoseok could hear was chatter as he stepped out of his studio. He had wrapped up work that evening, and had found himself relaxing with the members, everyone excited for how this next album was going.
The company had announced Hoseok's new relationship just a few months ago, and now that the fans were a bit calmer, and distracted due to a single Jungkook had dropped, the group as a whole was ready to announce their next album.
"I'm starved." Tae wines as he flips through his phone, deciding if he should eat this late. The session had dipped into the early morning, but with how well everything was flowing, no one wanted to stop for a bite. ' Oh my God this Japchae looks amazing.' He wines.
"Nah, Y/N makes the best Japchae." Hoseok says off handedly, as he rest his head against the back of the couch.
Tae flashed a smile. "Oh really? How good is it?" He asked winking over at JK.
"Amazing, you guys honestly have to try it." Hobi replied.
"So what I'm hearing is that were going to Hobi's for some of that famous Japchae." JK commented as he and Tae both stood.
"Wait, What?" Hoseok's head snapped up as he stares at the younger ones. " No she's probably sleeping." He frowns.
"Please please, Hyung!" Tae wined.
"We promise we'll eat and leave. Noona won't even have to be up late." JK added
Yoongi chuckled as he started to pack up all the equipment. He knew that Hoseok had a hard time telling them no.
"Guys I don't know, I mean maybe I can call and see, but.."
"Great! Yeah call Noona and see if she can." They cut him off before he could give another excuse.
Hoseok sighed and pulled out his phone to call you. Silently hoping you were already asleep. He honestly wanted to just make it home and hop in the bed, not share you with the members. Though despite his pleas, you picked up shortly after.
"Hey darling, all wrapped up?" You said cheerily.
Hobi cursed under his breath. "Yeah we wrapped for the day a few minutes ago." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Honey, I know it's late, but the guys and I were talking about getting some food." He sighed.
"Oh, of course. I bet you all are starved, where were you all thinking?"
"Well, we were craving japchae." He said quickly
"Oh that sounds great! It's probably good to eat late, it's not super heavy."
"Yeah it would be great. You know what would be even better. Hobi paused. "Your Japchae." He said softly.
There's a pause as you're trying to understand what he's asking. "You want me to make you all Japchae?"
"You can totally say no, I'll tell them no deal and we can find some place. I just had mentioned how good yours was, and the babies wanted to try it. But I know it's late, so totally don't worry." He said quickly.
You cut him off. "Uh yeah sure, I can make some if they don't mind waiting. I mean I need to grab some stuff, cause I don't know if I have enough of everything."
"Really!" Hoseok says, eyebrows raising. Tae starts dancing around with Jungkook knowing it was a yes.
"Yeah, I mean why not. I love to cook, and I haven't really gotten to for the guys. I mean as long as it's what they want. I wasn't going to sleep soon, so I can whips some up."
"You sure." He questions, giving you one more out .
"Yeah, no problem "
"Okay, well text me what you need and I'll grab it on our way in, I don't want you walking alone this late." He sounded pretty chipper.
"Sure darling, I'll see you soon." You smile.
"I love you." He whispers. " You really are amazing " he gushes.
"Love you too sweetie, see you soon."

You smiled as you picked up some of the dishes from your late night dinner. Only the younger members had decided to come over. The hyungs deciding that sleep was more precious than food that night.
The rambunctious four has come home loudly and entertained you with jokes and laughs while you cooked. JK helps you cut things as Jimin and Tae tell you stories of the day. Hoseok laughed along as they exaggerated more and more.
Now as the night settled in, the apartment was quiet, as all three boys had fallen asleep on your couch. Sprawled together, they looked too peaceful to try and wake. You set the stack of bowls on the table as you went into the living room to cover them with some blankets.
It felt like you were putting your own baby brothers to sleep, as you tucked them in and smoothed some hair falling in JKs eyes. You can't help but giggle at how young they looked when asleep.
"Honey?" Hoseok called and you jump a little. You quickly spin and hold a find to your lips shushing him.
"They're asleep." You whisper as you watch him while the left over soap he had on his hands on a dish rag. " I figured they can stay till tomorrow." You say softly before padding your way back over to him, grabbing the bowls on your way.
Hoseok could hide his soft smile as he has caught you babying the members. He loved that you were so kind to the ones he loved. As you move to pass him and wash those last dishes, he snagged your arm.
You pause giving him a confused look, before you were met with his soft lips on your cheek. "I love you so much. " He said softly. "Thank you so much for tonight." He said before sneaking one more kiss.
"Of course " you grin at him. "Tonight was so fun, it was no problem at all." You say before giving him a soft hip bump and heading back to the sink.
Hobi chuckles to himself before quietly turning down the lights. He had never felt so warm, and he was starting to think he wanted this forever.

Looking back, that was the moment he knew you were the one. His one and only love. Your relationship hadn't always been easy, but the draw you had to one another allowed you to withstand anything.
Hobi held your waist and started to twirl you around quickly, your giggles echoing in his ear. There had been some hiccups this morning, but honestly today was nothing short of perfect for him. Remembering that moment the doors opened and you were standing there in that magnificent white dress. He could think of nothing more beautiful on this earth.
- Today 11 AM -
Hobi paced back and forth hands in his pockets. He had preformed for millions of people by now, and he honestly had never felt more nervous. He knew that you loved him, but that little monster in the back of his mind kept whispering. "What if she say no?"
He quickly shook his head as he reached for a glass of whiskey. He needed to have something to settle his nerves. Namjoon, Jin, and Yoongi sat there as they watched their brother slowly drive himself crazy. Before Hoseok looked like he was about to tear his hair out, Jin jumped up.
"Can you calm down you imbecile. You act like Y/N isn't head over heals in love with you." He snapped, causing Hobi to pause mid stride.
"But, what if she changes her mind? What if she runs! Oh God, if she runs I swear." Hobi started to hyperventilate.
"Breath." Yoongi said jumping up to pat him on the back. " Y/N loves you, and she's not gonna run. She's been ready to marry you for months. Just calm down."
Hobi tries to take a deep breath and sits down on the couch. "I just love her so much guys. Like my heart hurts, I love her. What if I'm not a good husband? What if I screw this up?" he sighs before looking up at them. " I know I'm being crazy, but I've never felt like this for anyone before."
Namjoon chuckles as he moves over to sit next to him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Hobi, everything is going to be fine I swear. You're going to stand at the end of that aisle, and the moment you see her everything you're feeling right now is gonna melt away."
Hoseok ran his hands up his face and took a deep breath. "I know I'm being dumb but I can't help it." he sighed. She's so beautiful, and kind, and smart. God, I can't imagine someone more perfect." he took a breath before leaning his head against the back of the couch.
Yoongi laughed, before pulling out a small envelop and box from his breast pocket. "You know, Y/N told me to give you this before the wedding started, and I can't imagine a better thing to help calm you down than a gift from the bride."
Hoseok looked up, curiosity laced on his face. "She gave you something for me?" he said curiously, before reaching for the gift. Hobi slowly opens the small pink envelop, his name written in your script.
I can't believe our wedding day is finally here! I still remember the first time I saw you. I was immediately drawn to your kind smile and your infectious energy. I knew right then and there that I had to get to know you better.
My Dearest Hobi, Over the past few years, we've shared so many amazing memories together. We've traveled the world, laughed until our sides hurt, and supported each other through thick and thin. You've always been there for me, no matter what. You're my best friend, my lover, and the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I love the way you make me laugh. I love the way you always know how to make me feel better when I'm down. I love the way you look at me, like I'm the only person in the world. I love everything about you, Hoseok. I know that marriage won't always be easy. There will be ups and downs, but I know that we can weather any storm together. I love you more than words can say, and I can't wait to start this new chapter in our lives together. I'm so excited to be your wife. Opening the small box, Hoseok smiled down at a beautiful watch. The silver timepiece seemed to shine when he picked it up. Turning it over top put it on he noticed a small engraving that said 'For my beloved sunshine, my husband.'
Hoseok could feel small tears welling in his eyes. As he slid the watch on. Looking up at his member his nerves seemed to disappear. " I'm ready." He smiled.

As Hoseok waited at the end of the aisle, he could hear the soft music playing overhead. Your bridesmaids slowly making their way toward their positions. The anticipation to see you sending shivers down his spine.
As his niece and your nephews finish up their walk flowers all gone and rings safely given to Namjoon, the doors shut and soft music plays before the doors open again and to reveal you.
He feels like all the air leaves his body. You're so beautiful, as your white gown sparkles in the afternoon sun. It was like no one was left in the world but the two of you. Tears steadily stream down his face as he grins at you.
Hobi mouths 'I love you' silently as the wedding starts. The feel of your hand in his erases any fear he had earlier, and he's ready to start his life with you. Your eyes shine with their own tears as your reach him, your parents softly placing your hand in his. Beaming at each other, wishing you didn't have to blink to not miss a second of watching one another.

The night was now wrapped up, but neither one of you were sad that it was over. You had the rest of your lives to look forward to. Everyday was sure to be magic now that you both were each other's forever.
As you both stop dancing you sit in each others arms quietly. Just enjoying the feeling of each other's steady breathing. You cuddle up against him as he wraps his arms around you, pulling you close.
Laying one final kiss on your forehead, he pulls away quietly and grabs your hand. Leading you both into the future you were destined to have.
