Devoted to all things Oliver & Felicity and Chloe & Oliver; they are my OTPs (obviously). I'm a 40 something mom with four kids. My favorite TV shows are Arrow and Smallville. I recently binge-watched Beauty and the Beast (2012) on Netflix and my OTPs now include Vincent & Catherine. Occasionally things besides Olicity and Chlollie (and now VinCat) may make an appearance. I only watch the Arrow crossover episodes of The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. I'm more of a re-blogger than a blogger. This is a (mostly) spoiler-free blog.

ANOTHER THING I love about 6x18 is the way the camera follows Felicity through the precinct, so we experience both her view and her reaction to the scene. And while the scene is a haunting one, Felicity walks among the trail of bodies, without the horror the chilling background music and flickering lights are supposed to make us feel.

Felicity both clashes and belongs here. She clashes because she brings hope in the darkness, and she belongs because she’s not afraid–at least, not of the death at her feet. Unlike all of Star City’s police force, she’s not afraid of the vigilante she’ll find at the end of this trail; she’s only afraid of losing him

While more discreet, her actions are nevertheless heroic. Felicity doesn’t need a mask or a suit to do what needs to be done. She doesn’t cross time or earths or engage in any combat of her own. But she is brave. She goes with him, as his partner, as his wife. She follows him, into the trenches, into the darkness. Where he goes, she’ll go. She’ll go anywhere with him. She follows her heart to lead his out. This is how much Felicity loves Oliver.

This is... freaking amazing insight into Felicity Smoak. Truer words could not be said/typed.
