Look, I know facile trope inversion is for weenies, but I still really want to see a JRPG-style game where the shouty teenage boy who gives long speeches about the power of friendship is the fragile healer and the girl with the gentle piano-and-strings theme song and self-sacrificing “must save everyone” attitude is the melee tank. I’m not even being ironic – I honestly think it would work better that way. Like, let’s put power-of-friendship boy in a position where he actually needs to rely on his friends to get anything done, rather than just talking about how they’ve inspired him while he solos the final boss. And as for Little Miss Messiah Complex, well, tell me you can’t perfectly picture how the standard tank protagonist move where you intercept a blow meant for a critically wounded party member, facetank a fucktillion points of damage, then get back up again with one hit point and a voice quip about how the baddies will have to do better than that would play out under her idiom. You can see it, right?

Expecting them to be perfect and never make mistakes is setting yourself up to be an asshole.

Do you know how long it takes to write and publish a 60k novel for most published authors? Years. Plural.

That includes time spent writing multiple drafts and doing research and multiple rounds of edits. Access to a professional editor, and the ability to hire sensitivity readers. The list goes on and on and on.

Fan fic authors owe you nothing. They are churning out multiple novel length fics (or the equivalent in one shots) a year while still holding down school/jobs.

And you’re gonna jump down their throats because they wrote a pairing differently than you prefer??

Shut the fuck up.

Let’s face it. The Clone Troopers are severely white washed. Beyond the skin lightening, their features are animated very Euro Centric. But together, we can change that!

Temuera Morrison is a Māori man. This indigenous group is a subgroup of the larger Polynesian ethnicity! Personally, I am Native Hawaiian (or Kānaka Maoli) so tonight I wanted to do my part to unwhitewash the Clones and share some thoughts and insights!

Polynesian genetics are often seen in round traits. Round faces, round noses and round eyes! These study sheets are mostly based on his facial features and skin tone, but don’t forget, Polynesians are also known for large bone structures, meaning bigger body builds!

First, I made two face studies, one of a younger Temuera, and another of Temuera around Jango’s age.

This is followed by a skin tone study. The left side is all photos using indoor lighting, and the right side is outdoor lighting. The skin color palette is then placed over a light and dark background, so you can see a comparison.

Thank you for making content that honors Temuera’s culture and provides representation for Māori and other Polynesian fans! You have no idea how much it means to see you guys put forth an effort. It warms my heart, Aloha ❤️

Watch also when some first world countries finish vaccinating their populations, they will turn to third world countries and “donate” or sell surplus vaccines. People in these countries will go “Oh how sweet! The government is donating vaccines to the poorer countries <3” when it was their hoarding that led to many, many third world citizens dying before they could even get vaccinated in the first place.
