𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭!

i know i disappeared so suddenly in july, sorry about that. i’m not planning on coming back quite yet, but i plan on doing so in january, february or possibly the end of december. i’ve got my inspiration to write again, and have been working on some works that i’d like to share on here sometime. i have, however, been writing more bts fics than ateez entirely due to my irregular spurts of inspiration. i was originally writing for bts purely cuz i wanted to, not for tumblr, but i’ve decided i would like to share those too.

i’m aware that this is an ateez blog, but inspiration for writing ateez fics has been harder to find (im still writing, don’t worry atiny). i will leave a poll open until i come back. i’d really appreciate voting. i will also open my ask box (anons don’t be a dick challenge), so you can vote there if you do not wish to click the link:

i’ve missed you guys, and would love to hear from you. my ask box is jammed, as are my dms, which i means so much, but i may not get around to answering them for a little while, but messages are always appreciated; i am not ignoring you! i’ll get to it when i’m a little less overwhelmed. i haven’t been logged into tumblr for at least three months, so the amount of activity i’ve missed is wild, so if you’ve asked anything such as:

Pirate!Jungkook commission for @kpopfanfictrash ~ So when Shanna described what she wanted for Jungkook, I knew I was going to love drawing this because I LOVE 2019 Seoul Muster Jungkook. I’m pretty sure he gave everyone a heart attack. The HAIR *dies.* He isn’t flashy in the story– no crazy clothes or obscene jewelry– so I spend more time on his hair and face to make sure that was perfect! 

Here’s an excerpt describing Jungkook:

“Jungkook sits in the rowboat alone. It is tiny, room enough for only one, or two people. The oars rest on his legs and he stares at the ocean. He faces the bay’s entrance, as though expecting someone to come from the sea. You hide a smile before realizing he may not be expecting you to come at all. He is dressed in a plain tunic and trousers; no crown on his head. Dark strands of hair are made wavy by sea salt, tousled and kissed by the wind.”

I’ve yet to see any mention of this on tumblr yet, so Walter Wallace, a 27yr old mentally ill black man was murdered in cold blood as his family watched by Philadelphia police just a few hours ago.

As far as I can tell, his family does not currently have any crowdfunding set up. But Philly has a very large number of protesters on the streets and there’s been many arrests, so in the mean time, do consider donating to Philly Bail Out, and Philly Bail Fund

if you want to actually start to end homelessness, you need to give homeless people unconditional homes, including when we use them to do drugs or sit around drinking. either housing is unconditional or it isn’t

someone sitting at home alone, an active alcoholic, squandering your charity, drinking all day is better situation than a street homeless alcoholic. someone using drugs in your charity house is better than them doing the same w no shelter

most of you would not like most street homeless people, I definitely don’t and didn’t when I was street homeless. for every one person who uses unconditional shelter to turn themselves around, someone else will do jack shit and very slowly, if ever, work through the issues that made them homeless, will maybe never be able to live independently. still better than street homelessness, still worth doing. ultimately either you believe that shelter should be universal or you don’t

homeless people actually can’t be rehabilitated if you want to end homelessness. we either affirm the right to shelter for the worst drunken, lying, filthy, cheating, self destructive homeless people that exist, genuinely irredeemable wankers, or we concede that shelter is not a right
