last year on x-mas, my animation “Milk & Cookies” hit 1 million views

i was so amazed by the support and love on yt, that it honestly got me anxious to try and surpass people’s expectations, which has since put me at a halt

i’ve been doing a lot of “soul searching” hahah, and with the release of melanie martinez’s comeback album, i feel like im finally ready

not to get hella sappy rn but the Crybaby album got me through so much,,, K-12 couldnt have come at a better time

so, thank you for waiting ❤️

i participated in a new media arts program all throughout high school (basically pre-college stuff) where i studied animation, film, and game design

i also did a year of actual college where i studied animation and game design, and dabbled in film stuff on the side

it sounds like a lot but i actually retained like nothing bc honestly self-teaching is just as good, its just slower lol

dude i just have a really deep aesthetic for hands and i like drawing them

i guess practice and references,, for refs i usually use my own hands or google something similar

oh dear, my depression have a vice grip on me and i havent been working on animations for fuckin months now. ive been working on getting my life together, but a lot of external things that are out of my control are holding me back atm. so, i dont have a lot of motivation because its linked directly to my depression lmao

also, im trying to learn that its okay to start things and not finish them. of course, its damaging if its applied to big important things, but if you just let go of the smaller things, then its fine!! at least i think... still learning hahah

its all up to you and how your body reacts to it. for some, it works wonders, but for others not so much. but! if doesnt work out for any reason, you dont have to continue taking them! but always always ween yourself on and off of them, and always per instruction from your perscriber (dont just stop taking them one day bc that can fuck you up.)

anti-depressants in particular have a huge stigma that its “happy pills”, but theyre not. they just balance out the missing brain-juices that make you function properly, thus giving you the energy to make changing life choices. they dont make you magically happier, they just give you the option to be happier.

its always worth the try, but if you think therapy or coping mechanisms help you more, then thats just how you are. a mixture of both can be nice too!
