Could you give us some headcannons on what the captains' safe word/s would be? I been pondering this for a awhile but can't think of anything.
These are mostly off the top of my head honestly, but I’ll try to explain them as much as I can. Also as a Dadly PSA: I recommend having a non-verbal safe cue as well, in case someone loses the ability to verbally communicate by being gagged or overstimulated, like snapping fingers.- Admin Dad
Daichi- Kabocha (Daichi has a huge appetite so food would probably be on his mind most of the time and therefore easy to recall, and nothing kills the mood like essentially yelling “squash!”)
Oikawa- Wrap (A vague reference to pain and his joints, as well as the implied meaning of “finish,” but specific enough to stand out in a sexual encounter)
Kuroo- Yikes (His favorite english word, and the connotation fits)
Bokuto- Time (An easy word to say and easy to recall given the relation to volleyball, which would be necessary with how quickly and severely Bo can lose himself in the moment)
Ushijima- Call (related to volleyball and straightforward, sums up Ushi)
Futakuchi- Disney (His go-to antidote/remedy, be it for scary movies, loneliness, or overstimulation)
Moniwa- Dame (another one for the straightforward, essentially “bad, no, stop”)
Terushima- Off (also along the lines of a command, fitting as he uses toys a lot with his partner as well)

heyyy so these are mostly domestic, and perhaps not all too romantically coded but I hope that’s okay!- Admin Dad
- Oikawa is a freak for organization, with Hanamaki being next in line for cleanliness, but Iwaizumi and Matsukawa live in hazard zones. Once a month Oikawa holds a household intervention titled “how to put clean clothes away”
- No one can cook so it’s night after night of convenience store bento until Matsukawa loses a bet and starts taking cooking lessons
- Altogether they would be the Most Active, either by literally exercising or just by going out, not too many nights would be spent inside binge watching tv
- That being said, when there is a movie night it ends with everyone sleeping on top of iwaizumi, who functions as the ideal pillow, perfectly warm and excellent at hugging
- Hanamaki would occasionally need reassurance from his partners about his role in the relationship and Matsukawa may need to be reminded to express his appreciation for his partners
- They all go to different universities in Miyagi due to circumstance and for the experience, but by their third year they are all living in a house roughly in the middle of all of their schools, though farthest from Matsukawa’s but he is the only one with a car and a license
- Matsukawa eventually teaches Iwaizumi how to drive in case of emergencies. He tried to teach Oikawa but it turned out to be way too stressful on both of them and Hanamaki is terrified of the whole thing and prefers to be a passenger for life.
- Iwaizumi and Hanamaki are the Most Competitive and would need someone to mediate their behavior. Unfortunately Oikawa and Matsukawa think it’s too funny to stop.
- Hanamaki makes it his mission to teach Oikawa how to dress, a battle Iwaizumi has long abandoned, but he is too stubborn to let this go
- Matsukawa keeps adopting animals he finds off the street and eventually Iwaizumi tries to intervene until Hanamaki puts the one eyed puppy in his lap. Ultimately Oikawa forces a moratorium on new household members
- They go all out for each other’s birthdays and try to embarrass the birthday boy as much as possible. This proves easiest with Oikawa and Iwaizumi due to Matsukawa and Hanamaki publicly rapping a new choreographed remix of the birthday song each year.

Tendou
- Chaotic Neutral. He’s the Japanese Eric Andre
- Went to America on exchange for a few weeks and learned a lot of English in a very short time–but he forgot nearly all of it once he got back to Japan and now just has a habit of yelling “yeeaaahh boyyyy”
- His favorite pokemon game is Pokemon HeartGold because he got to see his chikorita walk behind him (He usually plays through with totodile, but Chikorita was his first starter ever, he’s a little sentimental)
- Tendou is the complete indoors type. He went camping once as a child on a school trip and got poison oak and food poisoning–which is not something one can gracefully have in the woods.
- In junior high he had a crush on the girl who worked the ticket booths at the movie theater in the local mall so he spent every sunday blowing his allowance on as many movies as he could see. As a result Tendou is a bevy of film trivia
- Tendou is huge into rap and house music and his favorite is the house coming out of Australia and now it’s a dream of his to visit.
Semi
- Follows a staggering number of fashion blogs and instagram accounts. A lot of the Korean street fashion he likes doesn’t work on his larger build so he tries to get creative mixing it with American urban influence
- He has kind of a bad habit of buying chocolate coated candies and sucking the chocolate off and spitting out the core
- In elementary school Semi wasn’t in any athletic clubs–he was in glee club, and he was the star soprano. Then in middle school his voice dropped and his body stretched out and he decided to pick up volleyball. (He still sings in the showers when he’s alone though)
- Semi isn’t the best in school but he’s very interested in biology. As a child he’d fully examine every tide pool on trips to the beach and as a result he killed it on the third year science exam on Cnidaria
- He gets extremely flustered whenever someone calls him “eita” for the first time, or uses any sort of nickname for him. This causes him a lot of stress in his relationship with Tendou

Pregnancy headcanons for Kiyoko, Yachi and Saeko please?
Okay soooo since Admin Emma over at @hq-cuties-pls has officially announced her pregnancy I feel like I can properly answer this now since I’m using her experience heavily as a reference - Admin Dad
Kiyoko
- One of those women that has the legendary female empowerment pregnancy (like Beyonce). She has that stereotypical pregnant “glow.”
- Never complains about her nausea or back pain, because even though she’s a glowing fertility goddess that first trimester is still rough
- She mostly suffers from exhaustion and can accidentally fall asleep whenever she’s sitting for prolonged periods of time. She took an accidental trip up the coast due to konking out on the bus one day.
- As mild and ideal as her pregnancy was, labor comes hard and when she’s alone. Kiyoko will fight through the pain and get herself to the hospital with enough time to spare like the boss she is. But once she’s in that hospital bed all bets are off and the screaming can begin.
- After labor when she’s holding her baby she’ll laugh and kiss them musing how the whole experience wasn’t so bad in the end.
Saeko
- The exact opposite of Kiyoko when it comes to complaining. Her boobs are itching and you’re gonna know about it.
- Her already large breasts are going to grow beyond her control. By the end of her pregnancy she’s wearing makeshift cloth bras from cut oversized t-shirts, and she doesn’t give a single fuck if her boobs pop out.
- Her hormones are completely out of control. Not only is forgetful pregnancy brain running rampant, not only is she crying at the drop of a hat, but her sex drive is through the roof.
- Saeko definitely goes through an existential crisis when it sinks in that she’s going to be a mom. At one point in the third trimester she tries to leave, just leave and quit. But when the baby comes all her worry disappears
- Immediately after giving birth Saeko has her s/o bring her sushi. And after baby eats for the first time and they’re back from the hospital, she’s definitely cracking open a beer.
Yachi
- Poor Yachi is nearly inconsolable when she finds out she’s pregnant--because she’s a nervous wreck. She’s convinced that vending machine coffee drink she had four days before she took the test has irreparably damaged the embryo and she needs to be talked down
- Yachi is the most adherent to the rules of pregnancy books and guidelines and follows them to a T. Even if she has an unbelievable craving for just a spoonful of cookie dough, she’ll take the tears over risking any complications
- She’s also horrified at first when she has the unusual (or really, less advertised) side effects of pregnancy, like excess saliva production and a metallic taste in her mouth. After a minor freak out and intense research session, she finally calms down.
- She doesn’t gain much weight anywhere on her body aside from her stomach, making her look like a child who stuffed a watermelon up their shirt.
- Late third trimester Yachi turns feisty and occasionally downright mean, and everyone is terrified of her during labor. Yachi falls head over heels in love with her baby and the two take a little hospital nap together.
