I had a dream last night about Sanders Sides.
Thomas was talking about some sort of performance (it felt talent show-esque but I can’t be sure) and for some reason Roman, Logan, and Patton needed more time. So Thomas was like “Well, I guess I could send the dark sides out first?”
And immediately Virgil, Janus, and Remus huddled up and started talking about what to do, but Remus kept interrupting with “Brittney Spears!!” over and over until finally Virgil starts clapping and yells “BECAUSE WE’RE TOXIC I GET IT” and then they ran off to, I assume, perform a dope ass rendition of Toxic by Brittney Spears, but I was too busy waking myself up chuckling.

Why did printy run away? And how did they meet? Also I love this au and your writing ❤
Printy was in the foster system and wasn’t receiving the help he needed, so eventually he grew so frustrated and tired of being shuffled around that he ran away.
I haven’t fully decided on how they met lol. My brain is still working out the deets XP

Question, how is Roman going to explain his secret twin to his friends? Do any of them know?

Delayed response, but oh my goodness thank you!!
Roman’s Twin is only a secret for the first couple years of their friendship, and it’s less a ‘secret’ than just Roman has a really hard time talking about it. There were always little clues- Roman is always so over the top and dramatic but he never does anything for his birthday (he celebrates it with his parents, and they always make sure it’s a happy affair, but it feels different celebrating with people who don’t understand), and the way he’d always get a little mean when Patton would bring up being “the only one with a sibling”.
I reserve the right to change my mind, but I think Roman finally breaks down and tells them everything on one of his birthdays. I think Logan or someone questions why he never wants to have a big party or anything. “You don’t seem the type to pass up an opportunity to have a whole day all about you-” and Roman just snaps “but it’s NOT all about me!” and the others are confused and Roman just ends up ranting about the brother he lost, how maybe he was kidnapped and Roman wasn’t there to protect him, or maybe Roman drove him away because they fought all the time and Roman could be so mean, and it’s not fair that he has to celebrate his birthday alone when they should be fighting over who can blow out the most candles.
His friends are understandable shocked at the revelation, but questions can come later, after they’ve smothered Roman in hugs and let him get everything out of his system.
