The Grand Eorzean Company, an MSQ roleplay group. We are starting with “Endwalker” a campaign that takes us ICly through the story of Endwalker as members of the Grand Companies and their allies.

This is a public RP, so feel free to join us. We will be moving slower than the patch releases because we want to enjoy each segment of the 6.0 story and it’s likely we will continue on into 6.1+. RP events will have timelines notated by quest name.

Every month there will be one main storyline event. There will also be a side quest story event every month led by a faction leader. Members of any rank are encouraged to create stories and events any time, any day. Just please let us know so we can add it to the schedule for everyone to see.

There are nine factions to choose from. Your character does not need to be enlisted in the military to take part in events, but they will need to be attached to a faction. For example, if you are an adventurer, you may chose to adventure under the Immortal Flames or for the Adventuring Guilds. If you are a crafter, you may be recruited to craft for the Maelstrom. If you are a conjurer, you may be recruited by the Conjuring Guild attached to Order of the Twin Adders.

[Balmung] Obon Odori September 12th @ 8PM EST Doman Enclave

Pray to the spirits, honor the dead. Obon is a traditional Eastern festival where families and community come together to visit, to remember, and to release their beloved ancestors. The Obon Odori is the festival dance performed in honor of the spirits as they are sent off on lighted lanterns down the One River.

Join us on September 12th in the Doman Enclave. Enjoy local vendors and food. Step up and tell a story about your ancestors in the story garden. Build a lantern with the Aramitama Vault. Watch a segaki ritual be performed by the Sasori Shayou-Dera. Join in the Obon Dori led by miko Eiden Seitsurugi. And send off your lanterns down the One River led by a Suiren Shrine.

[Balmung] Fantasia: From the Land of Dreams September 25th @ 8PM EST Mist W13, P45

The power of imagination is inspired by wonderful memories from our childhood. We wanted to sing songs from our favorite Disney animations. So we made this concert!

Fantasia is a fun concert open to anyone who wants to single a cover from a Disney song. This is a multiple stage event. Solos, duets, and group collaborations will be performed. And we’re looking for performers!

Sign ups will open on August 20th at 9PM EST. Last year, we had a few people come in after sign ups open and go “oh no! I just heard about this, but it looks like you’re all ready to go.” So we’re giving a little warning before opening the gates.

New Date! [Balmung] Haurchefant-en-Ciel SUPER SUMMER SYMPHONY NEW DATE: Sunday August 22nd @ 8:00pm EST - Mist  Ward 15, Plot 2

We were discussing uniform designs in the Silvergrace Academy discord. So I gave it a try. I tried to make something that looked like a classic school uniform but also the Sharlayan style school uniform.  The model is a Lupin girl I’m trying to get Liri to RP :3

I made more AFs! These are for Astrologian, Geomancer, and Arithmetician. 

When I made the AST gear, I wanted something to look like an old Greek toga, with lots of drapes, but in the traditional colors of the Astrolgian. I noticed that AST gear tends to have a Travelers kind of aethestic, but I was thinking “Ancient Sharlayan.” The Headpiece is gold leaves. 

The AST Model is Lady Cassiopeia d’Argent. 

I looked at Geomancer gear from FFXI and then pictures of onmyoji. I know they’re sort of elementalist, but I used the geomancer orange from FFXI as the base and then the other gear is sort of a ying-yang like theme. The left sleeve is hanging from the belt, so the bell ringing hand/casting arm is free for full range movement. The “hand slot” puts a tattoo on the arm.

The GEO Model is Jasper aka Wayward Son. 

The Arithmetician AF was the hardest so far. There’s only really been one Arithmetician outfit so far, and it was hard for me to really feel the aethestic of it. A big apron? I looked at Korean outfits for awhile, then I tried looking at Renassiance and Golden Era Islamic outfits, but eventually I settled for sort of a Renassiance workshop/crafter look, with a big bottom apron, Ren-era shoes and pants, and then engineering gadgets. 

The MATH Model is Sid aka Clockwork Exarch

The next set is Black Mage and Thaumaturge. These are fun :D
