Words will never be enough to expression my adoration for this scene of Splinter giving up his spot in the Battle Nexus because he knows just how much Mikey is loving being out in the open without any worry or fear of being judged and ridiculed by they all look. Mikey has always craved the spotlight, and Splinter wanted to let him continue to be in that light for as long as possible

Favorite Donnie & Mikey moments
If I had to pick two brothers dynamic from the 2003 series I loved the most (or in general) It would be Don and Mikey. I just.... adore their relationship and banter. Like I love how the creators deliberately shows how much they cared about the other, especially how protective Don was towards Mikey. They have the best dynamic in the show and I live for it.
I loved those two in “Junklantis”!

Michelangelo’s speech on Leonardo’s responsibility as the leader and eldest brother and the burden it comes with it
Always loved this speech Mikey gave on behalf of Leo. Always loved how in tune Mikey is with his own emotions, how observant he truly is that he’s able to see past people’s barriers, see past their facades and really see how they are truly feeling.
It just shows you just how much Mikey has been watching his eldest brother through the weeks while Leo struggles with his PTSD. Shows you just how much Mikey really loves Leo.
Michelangelo has always been the most insightful of the turtles. His gift is in understanding what someone does, the motivations behind their actions and behavior. This scene lets us clearly see how much clarity he has with regards to his older brother’s emotions.
