Weird and Awesome Skulls!

I figured we need a masterpost of some of the best weird, cool skulls out there for all the bone collectors. So here are some of my favorites:

Because Dwalin is the most badass dwarf ever and Mr. Graham McTavish is an awesomely nice person! And it was a true crime that I hadn’t drawn him yet! (It’s so FLUFFY!!!) xD Markers (black and colour) and watercolour.

Added another look to the Thorin costume collection from over the years. I still have some things yet to finish on the Golden armor and Ravenhill looks, but they’re slowly coming together. These are more-or-less the ‘main looks’ for Thorin throughout the films but I have variations of each of these as well, due to the Dwarves having so many stinkin’ layers. XD All costumes and prosthetic/makeup are created and applied by myself and it goes with a heaping amount of trial and error and some help from good company.

Hello!

This week end I was at MCM London Comic Con and I had an amazing time there! Lot of people praised my and ELK’s table, I was feeling so happy ;A; A big thank you to every visitors who came by and said hi!!

We had really nice neighbours: @keekal and @kataraqui, and of course we enjoyed once again the company of @threadsartbook fellows: Tea  and @kitjoyuki and her brother! I had also met @thedutchesse who’s table was in front of us. :3

I saw @mildtarantula again, man how do I love her webcomic Hemlock! (I drew a fanart of her characters but I’ll post the picture in another post~) Speaking of webcomic, I had the pleasure to be introduced to the author of Unknown Lands : @toherrys ! I still have to find time to read her comic but Cage’s cosplay made me very curious~ And to finish, I wouldn’t have spent such an amazing week end if I didn’t have had the joy to share a room with @fuckablenerdstuff, who is always so nice and intimidatingly hot. Plus, thanks to her, I also met her German friends who are not only funny and nice, but also have awesome cosplay skills! guys ilu and I can’t wait to see you all again!

a big shoutout to these cosplayers:

I started following their social media accounts in the past 12 months and they all totally impressed me with their talent, sassiness, beauty, humor, dedication and kindness! 

Gosh I could write a whole list with tons of reasons why I admire each of them.

Well, I started going to these FedCon GmbH conventions in 2005 and HobbitCon DREI was my 21st. So I already met a couple of actors and artists I really like/love/admire.

But going to these cosplayers and talking to them was such a huge obstacle because standing next to them and talking to them made me feel like Drew Barrymore in “Never been kissed” talking to the “cool kids” at school. And then they have been so nice and kind and sweet and I really felt like a little fangirl.

The first day I even crosssed their paths a couple of times and was too shy to go them and say hi. And those who know me would never characterize me as a shy person^^

Well, I just want to tell you guys, that you and all the other cosplayers and people at HC are my highlight of that convention and I can’t wait to see you and all the other fabulous human beings again.

what kind words ^^ then i look forward to seeing you again at the next HobbitCon or perhaps even RingCon?
