Smol ballet Kai for Inktober!

This is one of my first times doing ink work (the last time being 3 years ago) so I decided to do more learning with ink as a medium :)

So smol ballet Kai was born! Didn’t turn out exactly as I liked but was better than I thought it would be YAS

ps. I have no clue about ballet so no idea if posture or anything is right. I was actually trying to draw Jongin running but then it morphed into this of its own accord

I know this is mainly (an unused) fanart tumblr for EXO, but I decided to try something out  with Red Velvet. I used the opening of their “Russian Roulette” mv with Wendy and branched into rotoscoping. This is the first time I’ve properly used photoshop as a means to animate so this is an interesting learning experience too!

Here’s a tiny 10 frame preview of what I’ve worked on for the past few hours on and off (between anime episodes) :) More progress to come!

If all goes well, I’ll give rotoscope a go on EXO things!

Update

So I ended up losing my work on Monday. That goes from my Xiumin pictures I was working on for his birthday, to my uni work which was due on that Tuesday. Basically I’ve spent the entire week trying to catch up and finish my Uni work with about 3 sleepless nights chucked in there. So I’m sad I couldn’t get a Xiumin picture out there at some point last week, but I will get my stuff together soon and do one :D

Hi, so I’m still trying to figure out my tumblr, while I’m not new to tumblr, I am completely technologically challenged. So me customizing my tumblr to make it nice and pretty is confusing. I enlisted the help of one of my friends (thank you so much) but yeah, figuring everything out is gonna take a lil bit, hopefully not too long. I WILL GET THE HANG OF THIS! <3

Hi! So I made this last year, its not my first EXO fan art, but it is my first digital attempt at any fanart what so ever, I had always done the good ol’ pencil and paper :D

This is D.O btw, but it still needs improvement. It was a pretty rough attempt tbh, only because I was trying to get it done before the teacher saw me not doing my actual classwork on the computer hahaha
