Y'know what yeah I made this post cus I saw some ppl talking about how they thought a certain character wouldn’t want kids but would “overcome” it for the right person but that’s not just shitty for characters it’s shitty for real, actual, people.

Someone’s life plans not including children is not something that needs to be overcome.

Expecting someone to “overcome” or “outgrow” a lack of desire for kids for the right person is shitty. Expecting them to do so for YOU is even shittier. (Asking someone to change their life plans for your sake, regardless of what they want, is a bad thing.)

It does not make them immature, it is not a negative trait to grow out of.

Someone living and dying without ever wanting or having kids is not cause for sadness.

A person not wanting kids is not a negative trait.
