We knew that the girls were really women in disguise, that they understood love, and even death, and that our job was merely to create the noise that seemed to fascinate them. We knew that they knew everything about us, and that we couldn’t fathom them at all. the virgin suicides (2000) dir. sofia coppola.

(moon knight episode 5 spoilers!!)

thinking about how marc spector created steven grant to live the life he never got to live, in a cozy loft with books on subjects he loves and with a little goldfish that marc replaces, thinking his mother loved him. thinking about marc spector protecting steven so fiercely he'd take all the measures to ensure steven never finds out about him (re-taping the doors, smoothing out the sand, renting a small space to keep his things), and when that fails, begging steven to stop searching for his own safety.

thinking about marc spector never once getting angry with steven for being innocent, or ruining his plans, even when they get skewered in cairo. when steven inevitably stumbles into danger it's never you idiot, what have you done? and instead it's always give me the body, steven, and i'll keep us safe. trust me. we're going to be alright.

thinking about marc spector growing up alone, growing up almost unloved, growing up bitter and sad and angry and thinking it was all his fault. thinking about marc spector making a promise to himself, ensuring steven never felt that way. thinking about marc spector desperately trying to hold steven back from seeing his traumatic memories, because even then, even when his life is at stake, he doesn't want steven to know the truth because it might hurt too much to bear.

thinking about how marc spector loves steven grant.

thinking about steven grant growing up afraid of his 'sleeping disorder', anxiety settling deep in his bones, terrified of nightmares even as an adult. thinking about how steven grant thought he was going insane when he started figuring out the truth. thinking about how steven grant must've been scared of marc, or at least apprehensive, and thinking about how marc (despite his stoic facade) probably felt that like a blow to the chest—because not only was it one more person who reminded him he was unloved, but it was the person he prioritized most, over his father, even over layla.

thinking about how, despite everything, despite the chaos and bloodshed and unwelcome revelations, despite how it seemed at first that steven would've loved nothing more to be rid of marc, when they finally met each other it was with not even a moment of hesitation that they hugged, arms wrapped tightly around each other, holding on with a sort of awe and desperation.

thinking about steven, the man who greets animals like friends and talks to his goldfish and would risk his life to avoid bloodshed, gripping the wooden bat in his hand and going to fucking town on the souls because marc was in danger.

thinking about steven seeing marc about to be thrown overboard and launching himself at the souls without a second thought, even though he knows full well what happens if he falls in the duat. steven, who until a few days ago was just a history nerd and a gift shop worker, who got faint at the sight of blood and would throw a gun rather than fire it—steven fucking grant, sacrificing his life and soul to an eternity of torment for marc without hesitation.

thinking about how steven grant loved marc spector.

Water moon culture?

Water moon culture is
  1. Feeling overwhelmed because you soak up your surroundings like a sponge
  2. Being perceptive as hell
  3. Getting “vibes” from people and not knowing how to explain why you don’t like a certain person/thing
  4. Being good at uncovering the truth and catching any lie
  5. Emotional rollercoasters for daaaays
  6. 24/7 daydreaming
  7. Being told you’re too “sensitive” because you feel things so deeply. It can be both a curse and a blessing.
  8. Forgiving people too easily, or letting people walk all over them.
  9. Knowing everyones secrets but (mostly) no one knows theirs
  10. The friend everyone goes to when they need to be comforted
  11. Deep af talks
  12. Feeling other peoples’ emotions. It can be fun, but it can also be emotionally exhausting.
  13. Needing to be alone with your thoughts
  14. Using books/tv shows/art/music/poetry etc to escape reality.

Could I get a chart analysis pls 💕 bonus I also have a Scorpio Chiron and Leo MC

Capricorn Sun: Capricorns are well known for being dedicated and ambitious to an almost obsessive point. Capricorn is also the least stable of the earth signs, and they can quickly turn irritable when things aren’t going exactly their way. That isn’t to say that Capricorns don’t have good qualities; they’re definitely grinders, generous people, and super funny.

Scorpio Moon: You’re incredibly willful and you have very intense emotions that you try not to show, but you can end up feeling like your emotions are controlling you instead of the other way around. You’re very emotionally guarded, but you love with an intensity that’s hard to match.

Scorpio Rising: You’re a man of mystery in everyone’s eyes, but you’re so magnetic that people want to get to know you despite your distance: in some ways, it’s your aura of secrecy that draws people in. This is the strongest ascendant, meaning it very heavily influences the way other people think of you.

Capricorn Mercury: You need structure in your communications with other people. You like to deal with your ideas one at a time, and when you’re taking on new projects, you tend to break them down systematically and methodically. One drawback is that you can get very frustrated and stressed out easily, making you prone to irritability.

Sagittarius Venus: Venus is about how you act in relationships, and to your close friends or partners, you’re a fun-loving, active person who always requires emotional stimulation. You like to keep your options open and enjoy flirting with people, so if your partner is too down-to-earth, that can pose some challenges in your relationship.

Libra Mars: This is a pretty good Mars. You tend to be very straightforward if you disagree with someone else, and you’re good at settling disputes quickly and peacefully. Big fan. My only issue is that you start stupid ass arguments.

Capricorn Jupiter: I think this is a good placement because Capricorns are naturally driven, and that’s the best path towards success. You’re very mature and cautious about all the decisions you make to get you where you need to be.

Aries Saturn: This can be a difficult placement, as Aries is very much a “go! go! go!” sign while Saturn controls stability. You’re insecure about a lot of your abilities, which can impact your leadership abilities, and you’re a rule-breaker at your core.

Aquarius Uranus: Uranus is more representative of a generation than it is of an individual. Uranus in Aquarius means that your generation is very unconventional and seeks more intellectual stimulation than the generations before it.

Capricorn Neptune: This is a generational placement, and Neptune rules over spirituality. Thus, I think it’s fair to say your generation is a little old-fashioned in its ways, with ideas about how certain aspects of life should be.

Sagittarius Pluto: Pluto also rules over a generation in the aspect of power and control. Because it’s in Sagittarius, your generation is likely to be independent and optimistic, always looking towards a brighter future.

Scorpio Chiron: This is the most morbid placement imaginable. Chiron is about healing and growth, but when it’s in Scorpio, it’s overly concerned with death and existentialism. Perhaps you’re concerned with figuring out how to heal from loss.

Leo MC: You have a strong personality and the willpower to start a revolution. You’re thrilled to be in the spotlight and love being listened to; after all, you’re usually the most interesting person in the room.

was just Remembering how you’d be out with a friend and you’d each order a different cocktail and you’d ask “what’d you get?” and they’d read the description off the menu and you’d be like “ooh that sounds good” and then they’d say “try it!” and then you’d have a lil sip of their drink and they’d have a lil sip of your drink and you’d decide which one was best and you wouldn’t give each other a life-threatening respiratory infection

cliché but classic trope: when the person who almost died wakes up in a hospital bed, looks around and sees the object of their affection sleeping uncomfortably in the chair next to them because they haven’t moved in days.

You can pry that trope from my cold dead hands.

cliché but classic sub trope of this: the person who almost died tells the object of their affection “you look like shit” despite the fact that they are the one in the hospital bed and almost died.
