“I’ve eaten my entire weight in McDonald’s and easter eggs and I have zero regrets.” Nico paused for a moment before letting out a groan. “Although, I don’t think I’ve been in the sun for at least four days. Is that bad?”

“Let me take a wild guess and say you’re not all that crazy about Easter.” The youngest Winchester couldn’t help but crack a small smile. The male before him was almost the mirror image of his brother. “It won’t kill you but it’s not a healthy thing.”

Magda, I-I know it doesn’t feel like it right now, but…you’re gonna be all right. You can do this. You will do this. Just remember, that power… it doesn’t control you. You control it…  if you ever need anything, anything, call me, okay? I’ll be there.

she keeps her distance, affording him little more than a few second stare before she makes a grab for the unopened bottle of beer on the table. it’s not hers, but what’s that matter?? whoever it belonged to should have kept a better eye on it.  i really don’t care. she assures, brow raised and arms crossed as she warily regards him. ‘ i don’t even know what the hell this easter thing is!! i just don’t argue with free food. now that’d be a real waste. she pats at the pockets on her jacket, filled to the brim with the small goodies that had been handed out. can’t quite shake that part of her, not just yet. is this thing really some sort of big deal to ya guys?? i don’t get it at all. what’s with the giant bunny guy??

The history of Easter had always intrigued Sam. Despite his interest in the topic, he could never explain fully explain it to his brother. Or even his father. They both didn’t care enough to listen. At the first sign of someone willing to learn, Sam jumped on the opportunity to teach. “It’s not just about the Easter bunny and chocolates, it’s sometimes about religion. There’s loads of history behind it.”

“every holiday ever had been ruined by one family member or more. so, i have to say, same here. as long as there’s some alcohol & some chocolate—- count me out.” pausing to sip at the liquid in a plastic cup. “you could always netflix it up for the weekend ?? pick a show, binge watch it until the festival is over ??

“You too huh? Sam Winchester by the way, nice to meet you.” Sam lifted the can to his lips. He took a sip of it’s contents. The drink was bit too bitter for his taste, but anything with an alcohol content would suffice. “That doesn’t sound like too bad of an idea. What shows would you recommended?”

The youngest Winchester stood stagnant in a corner.  His fingers curled around a can of Coors Light.  As his hazel gaze darted from person to person, a slight frown crept across his facial features. There were stares that came with his social awkwardness. Despite the stares, as a hunter who’d met God, Easter had taken a whole new meaning. It was because of that new meaning, he couldn't help but stand in the corner. Movement in the corner of his eye disrupted his train of thought. As he glanced upwards, he realized a figure approached him. “Look it’s not that I don’t like Easter I’m just.....not that ecstatic about it.”

“Excuse me? Can you help me out here?” Despite what people thought about her, Carol wasn’t invincible. She wasn’t some force of nature with the strength of a woman half her age. Stronger than she looked, maybe, but not enough to get this hot cross bun stand up by herself. “I just need help to pull this cover up then move the table underneath.”

“Yeah, I can take the other end.” Sam shot Carol a warm smile. She often reminded him of a mother figure. The figure he was never lucky enough to receive. His willingness to help was genuine. With strength acquired from years of training, he lifted the table off the ground. “I didn’t peg you as the Easter type. My brother and I never really celebrated it, so I’m kinda new to this thing.”

Left eye flashing blue, a dozen or so small Easter eggs began to float. With a small flick of his fingers, the colourful eggs flew in random directions, landing in small nooks and crannies, perfect for this ‘Easter egg hunt’. Opening another bag of eggs, he repeated the process, little eggs floating into rather obvious ‘hiding spots’.

“heh. i like this holiday. it’s pretty eggcellent.“

The youngest Winchester’s eyes widened. Sam took a diminutive step back from the male. Long fingers reached in his denim pocket. His angel blade that normally resided in the pocket wasn’t there. He’d left it at his apartment. Leaving him defenseless against the supernatural. “What the hell are you?”

“ I’m not christian or catholic or whatthefuckever. Don’t bother me. Let me sleep on this park bench and don’t you DARE put those tacky bunny ears on me!”

“Is that actually a thing that’s happened to you? That wasn’t my intention. I’m not big on Eater either.”

“I feel like the amount of food I’m eating I should work out,” he mused as he ate the bagel, “but I mean that’s way too much effort for me”

“As someone who works out frequently if you don’t want to work out don’t. It’s not like that single bagel will kill you.”

she didn’t mean to do this, she just wanted to blend into this new world but it all happened so fast — her training took over and she jumped into action. the car wasn’t stopping and it was about to hit the boy and his mother, what was she supposed to do just stand there ?? her eyes glowed scarlet and her arms shot out, fingers dancing as red energy shot from her hands and encased the pedestrians in a protective barrier. she flinched as the car hit the energy field and immediately stopped; the front end crunching, the cars behind it coming to a halt. she dropped her hands and ran to the driver, seeing that they were dazed but fine. wanda watched as the mother gave her a look that was a mixture of gratefulness and fear. she looked around, seeing cameras pointed at her and she ducked her head – turning on her heels and heading in a random direction.

Sam came to an abrupt halt. His hazel gaze widened. As the scene before the youngest Winchester unfolded, his mind began to relive past experiences. The demon blood, his telekinetic ability, the energy his telekinetic ability sapped, splitting migraines, it all flashed around like a bad horror movie. Despite the negativity surrounding those memories, he ran up to the woman.  The desire to help her outweighed the desire to avoid anything associated with the memories of abnormal powers. “Hey, are you alright? Something like that...I know it can take a lot out of you.”

baby had been enjoying her life as a human so far. at first she had been preoccupied with trying to find dean, sam, and the witch or creature who turned her into this, but then she discovered food this stuff is so good ! the impala mused, popping another piece of her sour stripe candy into her mouth.  i don’t know why y’all complain when this stuff exists. it was amazing how something so simple could distract her from all the bad shit she knew was in the world. she understood why dean always wanted to stop at roadside diners whenever things got bad.
ImageImage

A skeptical look danced across the youngest Winchester’s facial features. It was almost as if the woman had never experienced the taste of sour candy.  As she raved about the candy’s taste, his skepticism morphed into amusement. “There’s a bit more to life than sour candy, which I have to admit tastes pretty good.”

Scully was flipping by a newspaper she had found on a nearby park bench, looking for any indication of where she was, as she spoke. Clearly uncaring to if she was being ignored, as she was more invested in figuring out just where the hell she was. “Would you mind telling me what town we’re in?” The date-2017. Now that had to be wrong; what kind of prank newspaper was she holding? “And possibly where the closest police department is located?”

“Seattle. Let me take a wild guess and say you don’t know how the hell you got here either.” Back in his world, Sam would’ve concealed anything relating to the supernatural. In this world, the supernatural was so common it was almost impossible to miss. In that way, he was much more open to other citizens about it. “Yeah, it’s just up the street. I can walk you to it. I was heading over there now.”

it had taken claire a long time to even begin to like the winchesters. as it was, she still sometimes found them difficult to be around, perhaps because of her own attitude, perhaps because whether or not she meant to, she still couldn’t help but be damaged by all that she had been through at such a young age. perhaps because claire was afraid to let anyone at all in, regardless of whom it was. “is dean…?”
At Claire’s inquiry, the youngest Winchester pulled away from her embrace. The inquiry was hard enough to answer while simply looking at Claire, let alone while making eye contact with her. Sam quickly found himself preoccupied with a spot on the floor.  “No. He’s not here. It’s just me. I’ve tried every trick in the book to track him down and I keep getting nothing. I think it has something to do with place.”

“What separates Seattle from Kansas? Are these Kingdoms, or perhaps simple cities?” The term ‘drive’ is completely foreign — yet another odd word that is from this world but not her own. Thankfully, he’s understanding towards her situation. Daenerys’s head turns to look in the direction his finger is pointing, at some strange… THING roaring down the street. “That’s what I was talking about — things I have seen but cannot explain.” Her mind can’t wrap around how cars work. Her mind can barely wrap around ANYTHING here. Although he has promised she will, Daenerys will never get used to this place.
“No, that wouldn’t be necessary. A place of my own would be fine. If an ‘apartment’ has privacy, then I shall have that, if it is no bother to you.” The people in this world are so much more WELCOMING and helpful compared to those she knew in Essos. The majority of people there only cared about their personal gain; it was as if helping others would harm themselves. Therefore, she doesn’t hesitate to genuinely thank the man. “Thank you for your guidance, Sam. You do well with your job, I can see that. If you really wish to aid me in the finding of my companions, then I am glad to accept your offer.”
“There’s tons of cities that separate Seattle from Kansas. We have a president that rules over those cities, so kingdoms aren’t really a thing here.” Sam’s turn to be dumbfounded quickly arises. As a man who devotes a large portion of his time to studying history, he’s intrigued by her use of the word kingdom. It’s not a word he hears often in the Untied States.  The surprise wears off however, as she speaks about finding a place to rest her head. As a situation he’s experienced plenty of times on his own, he’s more than accustomed to it. “It’s not a bother at all. I was just heading over to the apartment complex. I can walk you to it.”

For a brief moment, Sam falls silent. He isn’t used to appreciation. After completing a hunt, most citizens are too shocked to utter a simple thank you. Let alone use genuine appreciation. A small smile spreads across his face. “Don’t mention it.”
