Sleep is for the weak we stay awake for hours on end like men
Heās been caught, yes, the husband does not care however- evident at his continued chewing. And when he finally swallows, he looks at his precious wife with a mischievous smirk; face still covered with little bits of crumbs and frosting. āAt least the pastry was good~ā He hummed with a sing-song voice. ButĀ really, he was going to go outĀ and buy her moreĀ to replace the oneās that he oh so unfairly ate.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā I canāt believe it, betrayed by my own husband. In my own home. ā She said in the most deadpan voice. Lightly smacking him on the arm before laughing and shaking her head. ā Fine, but I call the leftoversĀ ā giving him a kiss on his face where what crumbs still remained.
ā ā® ć āJust as mischievous now as you were in childhood.ā He teased her, head tilting to throw a smile her way. "A wonder that it could come from someone so stern. Iām sure your grandfather was a good man, of course. I wish I could meet them myself.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā If I wasnāt how could I make you stick around? I barely remember my grandfather but the stories my father told me painted him as firm and kind man, so that I donāt doubt.Ā ā She leaned over and pointed to a much older photo, army men all together like the last.Ā ā Thatās him in his younger years with his company, he was their Captain. They where all fresh out of boot camp in this photo I think. ā
None of the men smiled in this photo, but one could tell they where close by how they all had arms around one another shoulders. The armor seemed more old fashion, but still just as elegant as her fatherās generation. They all seemed more youthful though in contrast to the other photo despite not smiling, something about their faces. Like they had not seen what the others had just yet.
ā ā® ć Auron found he couldnāt quite keep a smile off of his own face. The humor lighting up their faces was infectious.Ā āEven the most stoic soldier has a funny bone. How old would you say you were then?ā He took the album in hand and idly thumbed the page, studying the soldiersā faces. He loved the candid nature of the photograph but he was equally drawn in to the mensā uniforms, simple in design yet still elegant.
Ā Ā Ā Ā āAbout, seven or eight give or take. Our family room had several pictures like this, and it always bugged me they never smiled.ā She chuckled.Ā āMy grandfather for instance, had the best pokerface Iād ever seen. Even when no one was smiling he still looked the grumpiest of them all.ā
āI believe this was a few years before my father had to retire from the filed. Injured in battle, but he always took part in the political side of it all. Some say he was just as good, if not better in politicsĀ than in the army.

ā And thus, the husband who stole his wifeās last pastry was never seen again.Ā ā Aulea said in her best fake spooky voice. Catching the king red handed, arms crossed.
Text: Aulea - Do you ever wonder what the sky would taste like?
[ TEXT] : .....honey are you drunk? or just tired? Donāt tell me you ate a funny tasting browny.
Text: Aulea - Do you think pigeons know their pooping on cars?
[ TEXT] : Regis just because they keep pooping on your car does not mean the birds have it out for you. Stop parking near their hang out spot, there are other parking spaces in Lucis.

ā Hmmm, letās see...ā the queen flicked through the photo album with quick, but gentle motions. Through all the years she held to these albums close to her heart and had by now memorized what was where.
ā Ah ha! Here we are.Ā ā She moved the album towards him and pointed to one particular photo. A row ofĀ Iahon soldiers in their gear, posing with their traditional weapons proudly.Ā ā There, that was my father, next to the emperorĀ ā
Her father was dressed differently from the rest, a bit more refined but still simple. Especially in contrast to the man on his right, the emperor. Regal from head to toe and standing out from all the rest. They all had large smiles on their faces as if holding back laughter, arms clasped upon one another.
ā They weren't supposed to be smiling, but I kept making funny faces behind the cameraman. Mother insisted on keeping it.Ā āĀ
