More thoughts and some writing below the cut!

#the reason behind n choosing (semi) public places has been discussed before#but i thought this poly dynamic might add some news things to it#playing the lt route is also making me think...#N and A complement each other so well#(and i definitely think there's still room for the detective in there as well)#choosing one of them would make the entire balance shift#which i don't really like#they *are* different in this route vs their solo routes#so yeah poly ftw i suppose haha!

angelica :   where does your muse draw inspiration in life ?   what motivates them ?

Avery is inspired by stars and science (and in the Rook Lives AU specifically, she's inspired by the supernatural). She's driven by her curiosity, her need to understand.

Bridget is inspired by poetry, literature, and romcoms. She has a very specific idea of what her life should look like, and she's motivated by her need to achieve that.

Calla is inspired by her older sisters (but don't tell them that). Her main motivation is to show everyone (especially her family) that she's not a baby.

hydrangea :   how much does your muse value communication in their relationships with others ?  are they prone to being misunderstood ?

For Avery, communication is very important...but not everything has to be communicated. When she wants to say something (usually science! or some version of "I'm not that into you"), she's usually very clear. Sometimes people misunderstand her because she doesn't talk about her feelings (because she doesn't always understand her own feelings). (Canon Avery is not as good at communication! She buries everything under sarcasm and doesn't want to be understood.)

Bridget teaches communication (she's a seventh grade language arts teacher), so in theory, communication is very important to her. But she's not always good at it. She gets extremely emotional and just kind of says what she needs to say to retain control of the situation (usually...something mean/sarcastic lol).

Calla loves communicating; she just doesn't have many relationships with people who like communicating back. She's easily overlooked or not taken seriously, which I guess is a form of misunderstanding.

peony :   what would a   ‘  happy life  ’   look like in your muse’s eyes ?

Avery: Until the killer comes to town, she's living it. A job as a research scientist, uncovering the world's mysteries; her own apartment; and some time to look at the stars once in a while.

Bridget: Husband, a house with a white picket fence, one point five kids, etc. A happy life is a normal life.

Calla: Lots of friends, respect, infinite time to play with her dog.
