If you think about it, the Justice League is made up of two groups: people who aren’t worried about jumping off buildings because they can fly, and people who will jump off buildings despite the fact that they cannot fly

Give me fictional romances that are star-crossed!

Doesn’t a romance being forbidden make it more enticing?

Doesn’t a romance being forbidden make the yearning sweeter?

Isn’t a romance where the characters think they have to hide their love more romantic?

Don’t the barriers of a relationship make it so much more satisfying when the characters finally manage to surpass the barriers between them and connect?

The heart always wants what you say it can’t have. And the heart will not be denied.

another reason batman is really funny to me is because he's one of the big three of the justice league, can stand toe-to-toe with demigods, is among the top 5 smartest people in his universe, arguably the best martial artist, has fist fought literally everyone from his own children to superman to darkside, but his arch nemesis is just. A clown. with no superpowers. that's in love with him.
