I got stuck reading the comments on a post about abortion on facebook yesterday, and many of the anti-abortion people had the argument “it has a heartbeat around day 21, therefore it is already a living human”. I had to fight the urge to ask each and every one of them if they eat animals. Because, you know, they also have heartbeats so that would make it equal to killing another human being, right? Right?
