I saw this and I had a thought so I’m going to rant a little bit.
Just imagine it
Cale and his family are at a victory banquet for defeating the white star
There’s someone from EVERYWHERE. Any ally is there.
Cale has been talking to people for hours because everyone wants to see him and he thinks it’s important to at least be good at the victory banquet for the end of HIS war with the white star
By the time he’s alone he’s exhausted. The party has been going on for hours and will probably continue until dawn.
So, to avoid people, Cale sneaks away to an empty room of the palace the banquet is in.
It’s quiet, has a comfortable couch, and is nice and warm.
Cale sits down to rest for a bit but- he falls asleep.
He didn’t mean to but he hasn’t slept well for so long and the crybaby thought he deserved it.
Further into the banquet, when his kids realize he’s gone, they track him down after a little panicking
Just to see their father figure curled up on the couch under his cape sleeping.
So, they curl up with him too.
The banquet ends and when the rest of Cale’s family find them, Eruhaben carefully teleports them to bed.
They earned a good rest after all they had done.
