I am wide awake at 4am and decided to jump on mobile and fix some tags (because why not be productive instead of sleeping when I have to work in a few hours, oop) and tumblr was messing up my posts including ones I’ve tagged people! Not sure if anyone will get re-notified for things they’ve previously been tagged in. I really hope not but I’m sorry if anyone does! Honestly, just trying to fix some tags and tumblr is being annoying af and reminding me why I don’t use mobile 😫
The level of foolery on here from [hate] anons is astounding. The audacity of some people. It was bad enough before with the absolutely ridiculous w*asel/m*llory bs. Then the whole “the community is dead” nonsense and “I don’t like your oc, stop posting about them”. Now we got anons claiming to NOT be hateful while saying things like “you don’t post enough oc stuff to be an oc blogger” and “I’ve discussed you with others and we don’t like you so you’re now banned from the community lolz” get off your high horse and come back to reality. You’re spreading hate and negativity in the community, the same thing you claim to be against. Make it make sense. Except you can’t, because it doesn’t. It would require you to get off the school yard and act like a mature and decent human being. Seeing as that’s probably not possible for you here’s a tip - there’s these things called the unfollow button and the block button, how about you use them instead of harassing the oc community through anon hate. Or better yet, why don’t you get off anon and really stand up for what you “believe in”. But that’s right, the oc “mafia” will come for you then 🙄 because having an actual conversation with the people you’re currently targeting on anon wouldn’t change the reactions you’re getting. The amount of things that would change with actual communication. Smh. Regardless, I can assure you, you don’t speak for the entire community nor the specific people you mentioned.
This isn’t even about defending my friends as some of the people who’ve been attacked I don’t follow or interact with. This is about human decency. You have nothing better to do than attack and threaten people anonymously? There’s literally a pandemic going on in the world rn. Again, I say come back to reality and take a look in the goddamn mirror - reflect on your decisions. I can take a fair guess and say a good majority of us use this platform and the oc community to ESCAPE what is happening around us, especially now. So please, just stop because you are bringing negativity and hate to this community by coming into people’s inboxes and saying the foul things you do.
If anyone comes for me for saying this then so be it. I have “the receipts to back up” the fact I’m an oc writer/blogger despite being on hiatus (for writing and on here) and not posting much about my ocs. Every single thing I’ve written I still have (including what I’ve deleted off ffn). But there’s so much more to being an oc blogger/oc writer/fanfic writer in general than being extremely active. Hell, you don’t even have had to written anything. An idea is enough, supporting other creators is enough, being friends with creators is enough etc, etc because so many more things make up this community!

Hello all! Thank you so much to all my new followers coming to this disaster of a blog. I love each and every one of you, and your patience.
Now, due to some issues I’ve had in the past, I’m going to try a different kind of giveaway, or rather, readaway. Instead of photoshopping, I’m going to do some reading and reviewing! I will read up to five chapters of a fic of your choice (or more depending on how many submissions I get) and at the end of each reading, I will post about it on my blog! A little review and recommendation if you will.
I know it’s not a lot, but honestly, it’s just what I can manage right now.
Rules
- You must be following me.
- No anonymous submissions will be allowed.
- Submit one of your fic links to me for reading. (I have Wattpad, Fanfiction, and AO3 accounts - please use one of these three)
- I will allow two submissions if you are also recommending one for your mutuals. (Please make sure to include their blog name so I can recommend them in the review)
- If your fic is on multiple sites, feel free to include all the links so I can share them on my blog.
- Submissions will close Friday, June 11th
What will I read?
I happen to have a good grasp of multiple fandoms, but here’s a good starting point.
- I am familiar with Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, DC, Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Harry Potter, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Supernatural, a little bit of Doctor Who and a little bit of Shadow and Bone.
- I know absolutely nothing about Teen Wolf or The 100. If they’re the only stories you have, go for it, but I’m going in blind.
- I will not read any Twilight fanfiction. I’m sorry. I just can’t with that series.
- I will also not read any fics involving incest or minors being sexually abused.
- If you have any questions about the fandom your story is in, feel free to message me!
Due to the fact it is reading, I cannot guarantee a timeframe when I will be finished. I do hope that by the end of June, I’ll have all the reading done. I look forward to reading your works, and finding my new favorite stories!

AHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE YOU....YOU BEAUTIFUL SOUL YOU. Here is more spoiled brat for you.
1). Petra has tonitrophobia, or fear of thunder. She hates the booming sound because it makes her unsettled and just all around nervous. When she was younger, she used to hide in her dresser closet hoping it would help mute most of the thunder.
2). She is prone to tongue clicking and eye rolling when she is annoyed. Her father has always scolded her for this, but to no avail.
3). Snorts when she laughs genuinely. Kira is the first to find this out and Petra always threatens her to never tell anyone else.
4). When she has to talk to someone she doesn't like, she likes to keep the conversation short and simple in order to avoid dragging it out. She especially does this with Zoya throughout the course of their time in the Little Palace, but they eventually work on their issues and learn to respect each other.
5). Is paranoid with her meats and always requests for it extra-well done. Also prefers the edges a little crispy. When she moves to the Little Palace, her diet is changed to match the army meals and learns to enjoy what is given to her, much to her dismay. Beggars can't be choosers.

Hello my dear <3 Thank you so much for this! You’re really helping me nail down some final touches to our favorite spoiled brat
3). What is their sexuality?
Petra is bisexual, but she leans more to the opposite sex. I would say she is 90%-10%.
5). How do they react to injuries?
In the beginning, Petra would freak the fuuuuck out. She was raised to take pride in her appearance and something as a scratch will make her berserk. After prioritizing her training in the Little Palace, she learns to let go and accept herself, flaws and all (mentally and physically).
16). What are 5 words to describe their appearance?
attractive, elegant, shapely, spotless (well...before her training), flabby (again...before her training).
19). What other character in your WIP is most likely to make them laugh and how would they do it?
Probably Kira Antonov, Petra’s first and best friend when she lives at the Little Palace. Kira is a Tidemaker and she teaches Petra how to control water when the latter first discovers she too can manipulate water on top of her healing. The way that Kira would get Petra to laugh is when people who bully Petra get a small water ball dumped over their head and they try to figure out which Tidemaker did it.
23). What do they fear losing the most?
Probably trust. Petra finds out how tough life is on the other side. What I mean by this is, before Petra finds out she is a Grisha, she mingled with those in the royal court and would often look down on the Grisha, finding them to be a waste of the Army’s resources and thought them as arrogant and showoffs. It’s only when she becomes a Grisha that the same people she joked around with, started to turn their back on her. Since then, Petra learned to keep her guard up to protect herself from the ridicule until she meets Kira and forms a lasting friendship with her (Kira’s fate...we don’t know yet!) Her trust is then broken again from the Darkling because he eventually disregards her when Alina comes into the picture, proving that he was only entranced with her for her powers and was never in love with her to begin with. When Petra finally meets her endgame love interest, she is a broken, young woman who learns to slowly open up to the one person who doesn’t believe in sharing niceties. I love building up this potential relationship and I really hope to do this justice!!!
24). What was their worst ever injury?
Hmmmmm, I guess you can say during a certain standoff and she gets part of her back sliced. She is forced to rely on them to tell her where she needs to heal herself and I guess it’s a pretty intimate moment between them, especially the awkwardness of it hahaha.

Because I think it needs to be said, if you feel like you need to hide behind anonymous messages in order to spread your hatefulness then you know what you’re doing is wrong. You know you’re spreading negativity and clearly aren’t interested in opening up points of conversation for criticism over things you think are “wrong”.
You can’t just point a something and yell that you don’t like it and that it’s making you angry, you sound like children. And believes me, the irony doesn’t escape me that most of these anons are trying to gatekeep against people that they claim are trying to romanticise toxic relationships when they themselves are being toxic.
And for another thing, trying to complain about the oc community being toxic by complaining about things that are done out of kindness??? You’re going after some of the nicest, most welcoming people in this community and then getting upset when people come to their defense, or when they try to do nice things for their friends? Truly, I don’t understand the mindset here, but a lot of you are coming off like spoiled kids who got invited to someone else’s birthday party and then got upset because they’re not getting gifts too?
You cannot claim that the oc community is toxic and then continue spreading toxicity. You’re not being constructive, you’re throwing around petty insults. That’s bullying. It is literally so much easier to see something you dislike and to not say something than to go into somebody’s ask on anon and spread negativity. Unfollow buttons exist, block buttons exist. Literally the power to not interact with someone in such a hateful manner rests squarely on your shoulders but you’ve decided instead to be the bully in the schoolyard. Grow up. You should know better than to play the bully, especially because I know everyone single one of you are old enough to know better.
I literally don’t know how to explain to some of y’all that the people around you should be treated with kindness, even if you don’t agree with them. Sometimes I wonder who raised some of y’all.
