Leonard looked up in surprise before smirking at Isiah.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.” The ginger moved closer to him and pressing a kiss to his cheek.

Leonard smiled, leaning down to kiss them back.

“Then I’m glad ye’re happy, darlin’.”

“Seeing you always makes me happy.” They grinned and trailed their fingers gently along his jawline, loving being able to touch him so freely.

Leonard hummed happily as they gently caressed his face, smiling at them.

"Makes me real happy to see ya, too, sweetheart."

Dropping current threads

Sorry, I just haven't had any muse for Leonard in any of my current threads on here and I feel bad starting new ones when the ones I have are still so waiting for replies.

So I'm going to be dropping any current threads on this account. I'm also thinking of fusing this with my main rp blog, @ensign-jenna-oconnor since I've been using him in threads there

Mermaid / / ensigntanniskyosta

Tannis was still working on understand their strange words, her birth tongue so different from theirs. But she could understand tone and facial expressions. She smiled at him, assuming from his vocal inflections and the look on his face that he was saying something good.
“Ты хорошо выглядишь,” she offered, despite knowing that it wouldn’t make sense to him.

He smiled, extending his arm for her to take. He wasn’t sure what she said, but she sounded like she was saying something nice.

“Let’s go eat. The chef made surf and turf fer us, oysters included, and a nice chicken dish fer Jo.”

“Chicken!”

Oysters! Tannis instantly brightened even as she looked at his arm. Oh, maybe he meant hand holding. Her people often held hands to avoid being torn apart from the currents.

She cheerfully grabbed his hand, lacing their fingers together with a bright smile.

He was a little surprised when she took his hand, but he just went with it. He had no idea what her culture was like, so who was he to assume it was an intimate gesture for her?

“Let’s go!” Joanna whined, tugging them towards the dining room.

Tannis smiled and followed the girl, glancing around with clear interest. Her people lived in caves below the water’s surface and in the cliff sides. She had never seen architecture like this before.

“О мой!” She breathed softly. “Как прекрасно.”

Leonard wasn't sure what she was saying, but she sounded happy. At least, he though she sounded happy.

"Slow down, Jo." He chuckled as she tugged them to the dining hall. "Let her get a look around."

Ellie and Joanna / / neu1701

Leonard frowned deeply, shaking his head.

“I’m havin’ a word with them about that.” He growled a bit. “Ain’t right sendin’ ya to her, or Crissy to Winona.”

“Oh don’t worry about that!” Ellie snorted. “Sarek already did. Particularly after Crissy’s hands got hurt.” There had been a rather large PR scandal after it came out that the daughter of Starfleet’s most famous captain and the Vulcan ambassador’s son was living in an abusive home and attending a school where she was being all but outright sexually assaulted.

“It was awesome,” Joanna said dreamily.

"I'm still givin' 'em a piece o' my mind." He huffed a bit. "What happened to Crissy's hands?" He asked, frowning more deeply.

"Daddy! You're home!" Joanna squealed as she flung herself at him. "Who's the pretty lady?" She poked her head over his shoulder.

Leonard grinned, hugging his little girl tightly.

“This is Tannis, sugarcube. The nice lady I wrote to ya about.”

“Hello,” a shy Tannis greeted the young girl. “It’s lovely to meet you, Dzhoanna.” She accidentally slipped up and said the Russian pronunciation of the girl’s name.

“Can I braid your hair?” Was Joanna’s first question.

Leonard laughed and set Joanna down, gently nudging her towards Tannis.

“I knew that would be the first thing outta yer mouth.” He chuckled.

“Of course,” Tannis nodded as she undid her braided bun.

Yay!” Joanna dragged her to the living room as Tannis frantically flailed at him to help her.

He followed after him, not bothering to hide how amused he was by the whole situation.

"Slow down, Jo!" He chuckled.

Lost and found

“When was the last time ya changed out some crew?” He asked curiously, wondering how close they were to changing again when whatever had happened happened.

“We had just come from a change. Nearly a thousand years ago when we fell through the rift. We were trying to rescue a ship sending a distress call. Didn’t know it was a decoy, the battle pushed us far enough into the rift we could not find stars to navigate out. When my first knew we were lost he woke me hoping I could help but there are no stars in the rift.”

“The rift?” Leonard frowned a bit, trying to reason what he could mean by that. “Ya mean a blackhole? Or somethin’ like one?”

He shook his head, “it’s a swath of space in my galaxy that has no stars, there is nothing to navigate by. Even n-space doesn’t respond the way it should. Directions are strange and if you go to far in there is no way to get back. My people say it is the edge of a tear in the fabric of space-time.” (Be cool if it existed but if it did there is no promise you could get into his universe.)

“A tear, huh?” He cocked an eyebrow in interest. “Maybe ya should talk with Spock. He’d probably find that interesin’.”

“It marks the edge of the known universe. My people are said to have survived it only once and no one knows how. But we came out of the rift to find things different. Hard to explain. Who is this Spock?

“Spock’s our chief science officer and the first officer o’ the ship.” He answered. “I bet he’d find anythin’ ya could tell him about where ya came from real interestin’.”

With a name like that he sounds interesting. But… your science officers don’t run experiments do they?“ Pure abject terror crossed his face for a moment before fading back into calm

“Not on people.” He promised. “Plants, cells, chemicals, yeah.” He added. “But not on people or animals.”

He nodded. “My kind have heard many horror stories of the scientists who do.” His hands reached for his collar. “My peoples have long been the subject of such curiosity.” He frowned.

Leonard frowned, shaking his head.

"No one here'll ever do that." He promised. "Most they'll do is maybe scan ya and ask ya questions."

He shot up in bed as soon as he heard her, quickly lifting their little girl into his arms.

“What kinda not good, sweetpea?”

“I’m not sure, pumpkin.” He answered. “Maybe he just couldn’t find the right stuff like he did against the Gorn.”

“That makes sense,” she nodded. Amanda yawned. The medicine was starting to work. “What happened then?” she asked.

Leonard hummed a bit, trying to remember exactly what happened.

"Daddy managed to show the tribe that the klingons weren't their allies." He answered. "And while he was doin' that, I was helpin' the lady gave her baby."

“Not quite.” He chuckled a bit. “One o’ the men from the tribe staged a rebellion and killed the tribal leader. His wife was sentenced to death because she was carryin’ his baby.” He explained. “We couldn’t let that happen, could we?”

Amanda gasped when he said that one of the men killed the tribal leader.  “No,” she shook her head, “Letting people get killed is bad.”

“That’s right.” He grinned at her. “So we had to get her outta there! We managed to get away and found a cave to hide in. I was takin’ care o’ her while Daddy and Sa-mekh tried to come up with ways to fight back whenever we got attacked.”

Amanda was proud of knowing the right answer and grinned at his praise. “How did Daddy and Sa-mekh fight back?” she asked, “you couldn’t use your phasers right?”

“They made weapons from things they found on the planet.” He explained. “Or they tried, anyway. I don’t think they really worked very well.”

“Oh?” she asked. “But Sa-mekh is a genius and Daddy can do anything. They must have been able to make good enough weapons,” Amanda continued with a surety only a young person can have about things.

“If I remember right they used those big brains o’ theirs to reveal that the klingons were lyin’.” He chuckled. “Sa-mekh might’ve made a workin’ weapon, but I don’t think Daddy did.”

“That’s smart,” she smiled. Then Amanda frowned. “But Daddy was able to make a weapin against the Gorn ok. Why not this time?” she asked confused.

"I'm not sure, pumpkin." He answered. "Maybe he just couldn't find the right stuff like he did against the Gorn."
