Im not going to spoil anything but here are some theories I have thought about the story here they are :
Zac, he might be a worker/drone hybrid I think this because, of his description and how he acts, although this theory has a big problem main about the fact how workers can't be impregnated, hmmm come back to me on this one
future plot : ok so I'm just spit balling here but I believe that the two colonies might have to combine to fight the common enemy, I mean what else could they do against the new threat?? Also I believe that the North colonies Queen is going to get murdered , mainly because I believe that the ant are going to turn against Xi because zac uh umm... well You know when you read the book.
OH, forgot to mention because this is a book about ants, they have ant genders , their is literally not a single She/her or He/him in this story and I FUCKING LOVE IT
