The accusations against Galaxia by Kallulily and others

Hello, this is @julicity posting this on behalf of Galaxia/Taureleni. There was a callout post made by @kallulily on both Tumblr and Twitter last year falsely accusing Galaxia of emotional manipulation, abuse, and grooming.

This is Galaxia and Keeby/@dalmun, Dee/@solardee, Plasma/@akumrak and my personal responses to all of the accusations.

Kallulily had addressed her callout to all of the Kirby community and friends and associates of Galaxia. I also address this to the community as well as friends and associates of Kallulily.

Galaxia's issues were only with Kallulily, but because her friends @magicantare / @aeonhero , @magoloranlaunch, and @kirbypurrs (who's deleted on tumblr) also made public accusations against them, we unfortunately also had to respond publicly.

Kallulily has tried to silence us from the start, telling everyone that we are going to make claims about how she takes things out of context and that they aren't going to be true. She tried to make it out on Twitter that because we did not respond immediately, our silence was an admission of guilt, which is extremely manipulative.

Galaxia has been has been gaslighted and manipulated by Kallulily and her friends since 2018, and lied to by Kallulily even before. Kallulily has also continued to be hypocritical and ableist towards Galaxia, as well as using them for a scapegoat for any of the problems they have with Galaxia's friends.

Please help spread awareness to this issue. We know people have blocked/muted our accounts because they have jumped to conclusions from the beginning. Kallulily has always tried to play victim when she was the one that had been spreading lies and talking trash starting back in 2018. All of these lies are an act of defamation. She will continue to try to silence us unless we speak out about this once and for all.

We expected Kallulily and everyone else who had made false accusations against Galaxia to publicly rescind their statements and apologize for the years of harm they have caused.

Closing the inbox for a while

So, between Star Allies’ recent update and Smash 5′s incoming launch, it’s spoiler season again. Besides that, I have a tremendous backlog of questions that I’ve been too busy to get around to. I’ve always been really reluctant to close the inbox because I really enjoy that potential for spontaneous interaction with you guys, but when I get into a rut like I’ve been in lately, leaving it open just tends to increase my feelings of guilt and anxiety as new messages come in that I can’t answer.

So I’m going to batten down the hatches for a while and see if I can’t chip away at this pile of asks in the meantime. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep it closed, but at least until I’ve had a chance to play through the new content.

(OOC) Technical difficulties

What the heeeck it’s been nearly a month?? Less on Daroach, but still more than two weeks, gosh.

Aaaaa, I don’t like cluttering my blog with all these boring OOC text posts, but I just wanted to check in and apologize for yet another long silence. (It has nothing to do with the last couple of posts, don’t worry!) I’ve let time slip away from me again in part due to being busy with work and preparations for an online class I’ll be starting in a week -- and of course, that means soon I’ll also be busy with classwork, but getting used to meeting project deadlines again should be good for me.

But obviously, the other reason is in the title. I’ve been using Photoshop CS4 pretty much exclusively for the last 9 years (!!), and gradually over the last year, basic features have started failing. I sat down to work on blog posts a week ago and found that the move tool no longer works. I’ve had no luck troubleshooting it, and even if I were to find a solution, it wouldn’t fix the fact that I’m completely reliant on outdated software. I’ve known for a long time that I need to branch out. I’ve just put it off for so long because getting comfortable in a new program is hard for me.

So after blowing half the week being frustrated at Photoshop, I finally grabbed Clip Studio Paint on sale and have spent the latter half of the week familiarizing myself with it. So far I love everything about it except for one extremely basic, crucial thing: none of its brushes feel comfortable for sketching in the way I’m used to. I’ve been playing around with custom brushes and settings, trying to find my groove, but it may just be something that I need to break in.

Anyway, tl;dr: Sorry for no post. Photoshop dead. New posts when CSP is friend.

Thanks! I appreciate the understanding.

I just wanna say for the record that most of the messages I get here are pretty chill, and I’m very grateful for you guys. Messages like the last one have been very rare in the six years (!!) I’ve been doing this. Sometimes I do stress out about not posting enough and letting people down, but that’s down to my own anxieties, not the occasional passive aggressive comment.

It’s you guys that make this blog fun, and that’s what keeps me coming back. Thank you.

Step one: not this.

Believe me, I’m not any happier than you are about how slowly I’ve been putting out content here. But I do this as a hobby, for fun, in my free time, because I want to. I’m not getting paid for it and I don’t owe it to anyone. It’s all just for fun. 

I have a real life outside of this blog. Sometimes I’m too busy to update. Sometimes I have the time but I’m just not feeling it. In those moments it’s not fun, and if it’s not fun then what is the point in doing it? It’s not a job or a community service, it’s a hobby.

I try to spend my limited time and energy on this blog answering the questions that I feel will be the most fun, both for me and for viewers. I get a lot of questions, and unfortunately I can only answer a few. I have to pick and choose, and try to strike a balance. It’s impossible to satisfy everyone.

It’s super late now, but at least I started it on Father’s Day. :B To make up for the last two weeks’ radio silence (I’m still trying to get a handle on the concept of “time”), have some fluff of a tiny Dedede and his dad (who, if you’ve been around here a while, you may have notice I’ve changed a bit!) enjoying a day at the beach.

(Keep in mind that this is an OOC post and Dedede won’t know what you’re talking about if you mention it. Also, he’s a butt and will probably ignore most questions about his parents anyway, at least until I figure out how to address the subject. >u>; )
