Every single time I've expressed confusion or just had any questions at all about my gender without fail it has always been trans women who have talked to me about it whether it be an in depth discussion or a simple "have you considered t?" it has always been trans women ready to offer support and help and I could not be more grateful for it <3

im still thinking about this i wish i could put it into words better but i think transfemmes and butches have something in common and something almost mirrored with our experience of gender. like those of us in both camps who identify as women aren't women in an acceptable way. there's a kind of inherently complicated relationship with womanhood and gender as a whole. there's a lot of pain tied up in continuously choosing to traverse the world in the way we need to to survive. but there's also a lot of joy. we are kind of inherently destroying the binary by virtue of being ourselves and occupying different modes of expression. we have always shared community. AND we're both really cool and hot. i personally have had a lot of gender confusion in terms of presentation and the butches in my life have done the most in helping me explore and understand it
