Smeagol and Deagol’s tragic story is my favorite in all of Lord of the rings, and I’ve barely seen any art of them. So I felt compelled to do something about that, hope you don’t mind. :]

Your Beyond design has to be one of my favorites. I like that you can easily tell him apart from L, but they still look similar.

I have several other designs for Beyond, actually, like his regular looks without his Rue Ryuzaki disguise, no make-up on. I might post drawings of his natural appearance in the future. :D

It might sound weird for a fanartist, but have you ever thought of writing fanfiction? Not necessarily dedicated to Death Note. Speaking generally.

Interesting question. I don’t write fanfictions for two reasons. One, because I’m just not that much of a writer even though I enjoy it (also, english is not my first language, so I’m at a disadvantage!) And two, because describing things with words in vivid details makes me... “embarrassed”? Not to say it’s embarrassing to be a fanfiction writer, I don’t think that at all. But for me, it’s just a way of expression that I don’t like too much?
I love writing about situations between characters, ESPECIALLY interactions and relationships, but I prefer writing them in forms of comics. Less wording, only dialogs, and visual art to set the tone instead of descriptions.
That’s just my personal preference! I can enjoy fanfiction as a reader, not so much as a writer. :P

Yes, I have several times, but not polished, digital, colored drawings. Honestly, 95% of what I draw are quick sketches on paper that I don’t post online haha.

Honestly, I was REALLY surprised to see such positive reactions to the new way I draw Beyond Birthday. I was kind of expecting people to hate it. But lots of you were happy I gave him his own face!
So I decided I’d draw him with L to show their similarities and differences!
(And it’s an excuse to draw B being a little shit. And also L, he’s fun to draw too.)
It would seem getting stepped on by Naomi Misora is not as fun an experience as we’d like to imagine. At least according to Bed Bath and Beyond.
PS: If you’re wondering why B looks different, it’s because I didn’t want him to be just a carbon copy of L with red eyes anymore. He’s supposed to look similar, but not exactly the same anyway.

About that Tweek mug I made, I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again in case some people don’t know. I haven’t posted the original drawing online anywhere and I don’t ever intend to. Because that drawing was made for someone close to me, not for a general audience, and because it was a very personal gift aimed at one specific person.
That being said though, if you want a mug with Tweek on it, I’m sure there’s probably tons of artists online who are open to these types of commissions. And if you want them to use my mug as reference for a general idea, that’s not something I mind at all. You can show it to them and say you’d like something similar.

By the way, I apologize if my art has been on hold lately. I’m juggling between crazy tight deadlines at work and preparing to move out, so I don’t have much time for hobbies at the moment.
Also, I want to let you guys know I’m thinking of starting a new blog somewhere (I still don’t know which platform yet). I’d like to try and focus more on improving my art by challenging myself with original work rather than just popping out fanarts that always look the same. There’ll still be occasional fanarts here and there, but it’s not what I want to be focusing on. This blog won’t be deleted, and the occasional fanarts could still be posted here. That way, fandoms and original work won’t be mixed up.
Thanks for the support you’ve shown me, I’m really grateful for it! I’ll keep you updated on what I’m doing and where you can keep following me when I start elsewhere (for those who are interested).
