Stepping into the office Jieun hesitated at the door for a moment, brown eyes scanning the room carefully, quickly, before turning to the woman who had spoken to her. “I get that often,” she smiled, lips first before her eyes crinkled after. “I must have a very usual face.” 

At least that was the excuse she used whenever this question was posed which - as someone who had been around for…quite a time - was often. She could never be certain who might have glimpsed her in a prayer, a dream, a moment of duty and not quite forgotten. 

“You’re new? Well newer, the other bat- nurse, did she move on?” Hopefully to hell, Jieun held a lasting grudge against the woman though she would be civil, for now.
