Marley heard the cock of the gun as she took in a shaky breath and let out a soft sob as she stayed curled up on the ground trembling. But then she heard the gun be set down and she tried to control her breathing. She looked up questioningly. “U-Uhm…” she murmured trailing off.

Her nervousness was throwing him for a loop, she seemed so innocent and he didn’t like how that was affecting his judgement. “What?” He asked, finally addressing her and he stared, trying to keep his gaze cold and hard but she could probably see the hint of guilt behind his eyes. The job tended to do that to him, especially since he really just wanted out. 

Marley hit the floor roughly. She let out a grunt as she tried to sit up and was kicked in the ribs and told to stop crying. She shivered silently crying now whimpering after being kicked. The pain bloomed in the ribs of her small waist. She curled into herself cowering away from him.

She seemed to obey almost immediately which was also a strange thing to him. His victims usually gave up much more of a fight than she did. Was his boss certain this was the girl? He didn’t have much time to debate the issue though as a text came through on his burner. He read it before shoving it back in his pocket and pulled the gun from his waistband. Jake cocked it back, checking to make sure the bullet was in place then let it go and set it on the table nearby. His eyes scanned the room as he thought over how he should do this. 

Marley shivered and nodded still crying silently now. She wouldn’t dare to fight he was much stronger than her. He could take her down in a heart beat. She walked with him stumbling a little feeling clumsy as she almost tripped over a rock. She managed to just barely catch herself. And there it was in front of her. Her doom. The cabin in the woods where no one could hear her screaming as she was tortured and killed. She whimpered into the gag again and began sobbing making it even more difficult to see. She waited for his command as they reached the porch then the front door.

Her sobbing was making his resolve start to crumble. It was odd to him though, usually his victims never got to him but it was something about this girl that made him feel differently. The profession he was in wasn’t exactly preferred but he was good at it. So killing normally wasn’t a problem, especially since he’d yet to be caught. He shoved her inside and to the floor, hoping to convey that he was the one in charge. “Stop crying.” He muttered and kicked her in the side but not as hard as he normally would. Jake started to wonder what exactly she did to get on this hit list. She was crying too much for a criminal. 

Marley giggled and hummed happily as she nodded and smiled brightly. “The Jolly Roger isn’t far. Maybe 3 blocks from here.” She murmured breathing shakily.

Marley let out a cry as he roughly grabbed her face before it was muffled by the sock in her mouth. She head tears in her eyes as he tied her up. Marley had never done anything in her life to warrant this. She whimpered softly fighting to stop the trembling shaking her whole body as the tears finally slid down her cheeks. Surely he would figure out that he had the wrong girl and let her go. But no, she knew he wouldn’t. She had seen the shows and seen the movies, there was no mask on his face. No way she was surviving much longer than seeing the sunset that would bring the most terrifying night of her life. She whimpered but resigned herself to her fate. ‘At least the man committing the crime is handsome.’ She tried to bargain with herself.

His eyes fell to her face, still tying the knots to keep her hands and feet secure though. He had a job to do, he couldn’t be distracted by mere tears from a pretty girl. No. Jake had to stay focused. He forced his eyes to look away as he grabbed her by the ropes and lugged her out of the car and onto the ground. The hitman slammed the trunk door quickly before forcing her up and making her walk towards the abandoned cabin. “Let’s just make this easy and painless, okay? As long as you don’t try anything, I won’t make it hurt.” He muttered aloud, trying to make sure his attraction didn’t force out some guilt that he felt. He needed to sound commanding and cold. 

Marley watched and heard the trunk slam shut as she screamed for help and tried to fight to mess up a tail light in his car as she felt them speeding down the road. “Let me out!” She screamed until the car slowed and shut off. She shut her eyes tightly as she heard the trunk opening. “Let me go! You have the wrong perso-” She was shouting as she stopped mid word seeing the handsome man staring down at her and she swallowed thickly as she blushed and looked down.

After a few hours he finally arrived at the destination. It was a secluded, off the grid cabin that only his organization knew about. They had to communicate through certain burn phones to use it because there was no signal out there. He pulled into the driveway and put the car in park before getting out and walking to the trunk, popping it with ease and he stared down at her. “Shut up.” He groaned as her protests seemed to simmer down. “Don’t make me knock you out.” He threatened as he tried to keep his composition. Jake didn’t like to hit girls but sometimes, he just had to do it. He pulled out a sock from his back pocket and grabbed her jaw roughly to shove the gag in and he tied her hands and feet together. 

“Need more.” She hummed and smiled brightly at Killian. “May take hours.” She teased.

“I told you. Things here aren’t what they look like.” She murmured softly. Once Killian was standing once more she took a step back. “But I know how you feel about me. I remember how mad you were when I blew up at her before.” Marley sighed as she walked away.

Marley was quickly released as they grabbed Hook and restrained him. Regina looked murderous. And the next thing she knew, Regina was gone in a poof of smoke. Marley rushed over to Hook and helped him sit up now that her minions were gone.

Killian grunted as he hit the floor when the minions disappeared, causing him to fall to the floor. He took Marley’s help gratefully as he stood up again. “What the hell was that?” He asked. “How did she just disappear like that?”

Marley giggled blushing brightly. “That he has.” She hummed happily as she smiled at Blaine.

Blaine laughed and stood up from his chair. “Alrighty. Maybe we should call it a night, hmm?” 

Marley moaned softly as she kissed him back. “Mmm, prove it some more.” She smiled crowding closer to him.

Killian smirked and started to kiss her harder, pulling her closer to him. “Is this enough proof?” He murmured against her lips.

Marley giggled as she leaned in anf kissed him deeply. “Liar.” She smiled after pulling away.

Killian gasped and faked offence. “Why I would never lie to you, my love.” He chuckled and pulled her in for another kiss.

“Is that so?” He challenged playfully. “Well it just so happens that I love you more than that, Marley Rose.”
