I wish we could have seen more of the Ministry of Magic fight from Ron, Ginny and Luna, a room of space/planets is so interesting to me.

I wish we could have seen the fight in the Ministry of Magic like it was written in the books - but that would have required A) Ron to be amazing and protective before the brains attacked B) That Ginny goes down with a broken ankle before being stunned C) that Hermione is almost killed by Dolohov - thus Harry learning to trust Luna and Neville in the fight and D) Tonks going down too but surviving it.

Heaven forbid that we see how wretched the consequences of that really went - including Harry’s subsequent meltdown afterwards.

See this is a reminder that even though I reread the whole series like, two years ago (hello HPS looking at u, u were fun) I should REALLY read it again because damn I’d forgotten pretty much all of that. Film version really glosses over how devastating that battle really was, damnit.

Oh well. After finals.
