2009 vs 2022 2007-2009 when I first started digital art was mainly anime inspired and doing a lot of OCs. I wanted to create my own drawings and stories! And I drew a lot of female characters. Now - Men 😂 Still cell-shading but I think my lines have become neater and more brave with lighting and texture? 🤷♀️ but line art is so therapeutic that it’s hard to stop 😂 I saw many doing their showcase of #SkillNotTalent which I think it’s important to show how we grow as human artists! I went to the Hoyofest Pop-Up Store in Shinjuku today since there’s only a few more days left and I couldn’t go to the one last year. There are 4 venues in total, each had a different region. The one I went to in Shinjuku was Liyue. There were standees everywhere and funny thing is that when I went, Chongyun & Xingqiu standees were separate from each other but the staff eventually placed them together 😂 My main purpose was to get everything Childe/Tartaglia (well not everything because I’m broke af) but I got a majority of things I wanted. There was a desk at of Childe & Thoma but my desk is too small and their face would have just been blocked like my Zhongli & Childe one. I really wanted the Guoba but it’s really expensive (~¥9000) so I had to give up on it. But if they had the Narwhal… you bet I would have gotten it without thinking 😂 I’m so excited for next year because of Sumeru!!
