You really are your worst enemy if you don’t have discipline
Greece by Dimitris Tamvakos
you will surprise yourself. you will be stronger, kinder, gentler, than you ever thought you could be. don’t let yourself be limited by your own perception of yourself.
Of the perceptions of other.
You are limitless
You got this ♡
your life is too precious and too limitless to revolve around making yourself smaller and prettier and “easier” to love.
one of my favorite things about human physiology is the way our eyes change when we look at someone we love. our pupils dilate automatically like they do when it’s dark outside and they’re trying to let more light in. except now it’s the light of your favorite person. the edges of our eyes soften a little and they sometimes even get watery which we also can’t control. tears of joy. we tend to raise our eyebrows as if we’re trying to make our eyes bigger. trying to get a better vision and seeing all the details. we tend to blink less than usual just to make the moment last a bit longer. even if it’s just a second. or when you smile at someone with your entire face involved and your eyes just crinkle and create a sparkle in them. and it all happens so effortlessly and universally.
friendly reminder
if you’ve been running on the same schedule or routine for a while, try and shake things up today, even in the smallest way – you’re not living this life just to tick boxes off of your to-do list; take a break if you need to, and take care please

purposely choosing to ignore current events about the murder of black lives, for the sake of not wanting to see any “negativity” is so fucking stupid. blocking that out doesn’t make your fantasy bubble dreamy, it only shows willful ignorance and/or being blinded by your own privilege. that also goes for those who say police brutality is an american problem and it doesn’t affect them— the lack of sympathy is truly telling and anti-blackness exists everywhere so that’s relevant. if you’re present on social media, i guarantee you’re just one click away from at least knowing what the hell is going on. it’s so important these days since misinformation spreads like wildfire.
