israel has been bombing residential towers, refugee camps, media offices and now there are reports that it plans to bomb two UN run schools in palestine. reminder that many ppl who have been rendered homeless by these bombings have found shelter in these schools. palestine's hospitals are overflowing, their top doctors are being killed in these bombings, and the pandemic is still raging while israel is blocking humanitarian aid as well. these are war crimes. this is a genocide.

I don’t think people realize how much of an impact this kind of support can have, I don’t think everyone knows what these little things can mean to us.

It may just be me, I don’t know. But every single time I see this on my dash or on someone’s blog or anywhere else, I kind of just breathe a sigh of relief. That’s one more person who cares. That’s one more person who doesn’t hate me.

Because it means so much, especially when all the media is spewing out is that I’m a terrible person and no one wants people like me near them. It means so much because I’m tired of people who won’t sit next to me in class, or who choose to join the longer line at the grocery store because they don’t want to be beside me and my family. It means so much when I have to lift my head any time someone says the words Islam or Muslim because I’m scared that they’ll say something that’ll hurt, when I have to pay attention to the news because who knows what so and so is saying now, who knows which of my people are being attacked now, who knows what’s going to happen to me now.

It means so much because I’ve been given the idea that the world is against me. And a huge part of it may be, but at least I’ve been reminded that some of it, just a small group of people, acknowledges that I’m a person too. That people like me are just that, people.

Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know. But now you do, so thank you for believing that I’m human when so many people don’t.

Do not hurt yourself, do not hurt others, get help, talk to someone, anyone. Humanity has survived before and we can do it now if we all just support each other. My country and my people let me down and endangered my life but there’s nothing I or anyone else can do about that so let’s try to spread the love that is so clearly lacking.

I. Days of Thunder - In this life, there is only black, white, and shades of grey. Vision is comprised of different levels of contrast, light and dark, and it’s good. Normal, beautiful, safe. But then of course there’s color, limited to those that have been blessed with meeting their “soulmate”, that person which was created for you. The concept is a bunch of utter bullshit to Y/N, because she couldn’t be more in love with Grayson Dolan, no matter if he brought color into her life or not. 

Ii. Lost Boy - Ethan Dolan lands in New Jersey with a running streak of bad luck. Within minutes of meeting his brother’s new girlfriend, they already share the biggest secret of their entire lives.

III. Shadows - Grayson copes with his newfound discovery, torn between the realities concerning Colorsight, his love for Y/N, and the inseparable bond with his twin.

IV: Cherry - Breakups are always hard for the parties involved... and those semi-involved... and those who caused it. Grayson and Y/N cope with their breakup as Spring Semester starts.
