If tumblr had been around when Babylon 5 first aired, I swear this website would have been obsessed with Londo and G'Kar.

Listen. LISTEN. They are bound by fate. They circle each other like binary stars. When they're around each other, they flare like comets that get to close to the sun. They may well be destined to crush all life between them with the intensity of their will.

this started as a joke but then i started actually thinking about it and now im really annoyed that IDs have this one letter that doesnt mean anything for cis people and is a huge pain in the ass for trans people when we could instead have literally lifesaving information so emergency medical services could just check ur wallet to see which blood to give you so you dont die or whatever But No

I used to hate how petty and bitter the Aes Sedai can be to each other because I felt like it was a misogynistic and outdated take on f/f dynamics, but Robert Jordan has persuaded me by including the very important detail that most every Aes Sedai is another Aes Sedai's ex-girlfriend, and so they're all dealing with sapphic heartbreak trauma that they carry through their several centuries of life. It all makes sense

yesterday in the span of a single hour:

a girl came up to me at one of my best friend's gig to tell me that I look strikingly beautiful then spent like quarter of an hour explaining that she's not actually gay and apologizing several times.
my friend remembered that I'm a girl (it happens sometimes) and freaked out a bit about the entire us having a beautiful, decade-long friendship business and the "possible implications"
I'm very tired. I wish everyone could just relax a bit.
