the best parts of these segments are roman and seth’s pleas coming at the hands of dean’s brothers instead of the people he has isolated within the past few months. ambrose was the moral compass of the “original” shield; he was the calculating guy who led other two and formed a platform for them to work off of. now, roughly seven years later, he’s the one who needs the guidance and despite all the BS that has came out of his confusion and - for lack of better word - his stupidity, his brothers are more than willing to help him in the way that he had helped them - and that is some beautiful, beautiful stuff.

but can we talk about dean saying “don’t put this on me” over and over and seth saying “it’s not on you, it’s on all of us” and roman telling him “nobody’s putting it on you, we’re taking it off of you” like now that they’re all together again he doesn’t have to carry all his burdens alone anymore, they can all carry them together. the shield’s not a weakness like he thought. it’s a strength.

And I’ll be honest with you, whether we’re on the same team or we’re fighting against each other, when we’re on that ring together…
