In case anyone has somehow missed this, I am reblogging them with commentary.

I did not know @avendell, she dropped these out of the blue and it nearly gave me a heart-attack.

Cover: The details! The present and past Hermione, the manacles, the manor, the runes curving around draco’s head, the hidden heart of this, the disolving paper cranes… 😭😭😭😭

Manor: The scenery is so precise and gothic, creating the perfect mood. And then the two of them. And he’s looking at her. And she doesn’t notice because she’s hiding in her hood staring ahead.

Draco’s Runes: I’m practically speechless. The diagnostic. It’s so damn perfect. I never even described it, and avendell made it the way I had it in my head. And Hermione has her healing kit, and her foraging supplies. And the runes are so freaking perfect. And the dark magic is bleeding out under the skin. And Hermione’s hair is messier than in other pics, because she’s been barely sleeping from working in the hospital after the raids.

Heart of Isis: My tol/smol kink it literally tearing itself out of my chest and climbing a wall over this picture. Draco’s face is just—literally the exact the way I imagine him looking. And his jawline and hair. I don’t even know how to handle how exactly right he looks. And then the Heart Of Isis being surrounded with hieroglyphics. And you can see the edge of the dark mark on his arm. And Hermione’s expression is so intent and in the moment/process.

My mane: Draco’s expression is so right. His jaw is relaxed and his hair is rumpled, but his eyes are perfectly intent as he stares at Hermione. And her hair is all fwomp, and she’s sitting on the couch wrong because she’s relaxed and emotional, and gripping a fancy bottle of firewhiskey. And also, his haaaand.

Dark Mark: And this one! It’s like the epitome of that angry Draco Malfoy sneer. He’s crumbling around the edges and he’s so enraged. It’s just… *gestures wildly and incoherently*

Afterward Cuddles: The cuddles they deserve. 😭😭They’re literally as close to each other as they can be. Her hair is so damn perfect. His arm! The rune scars on his shoulders. And their wands and Hermione’s inventor/researcher notes lying off the side.

Ginny: This illustration of Ginny is so bamf. 🤤 Her expression is radiating rage, determination, and cold victory. And her scar is perfect. It’s exactly how I had it in my head, of visible but she’s still strikingly beautiful. And the auror combat uniform. Unnnnfff.

Aurore: She has Hermione’s face shape and hair, but Draco’s mouth and eyes. And she’s holding the history book. Just how….? And her lil freckles. And her face is softer than Draco and Hermione and Ginny’s because she’s not hardened by a war. 😭

Christmas Trio: And then the trio Christmas picture. 😭😭😭 I have actually considered several times having this commissioned. Because it’s so vivid in my mind and such a significant part of the story, but I didn’t think any fan artist would want to do it, since it wouldn’t be a Dramione pic. They’re all tired. They all look aged and exhausted, but Harry and Ron both look so happy. And Hermione is sitting stiffly and her expression is completely closed off, but she’s gripping and subtlely clinging to both of them. Harry and Ron both look so perfect. I just can’t even.

I don’t think I will ever get over this illustration set. 😭 Avendell curbstomped me with my own damn fic. 🤣
