Kilika Port.
Not only was it to be the next location for a Youth League Headquarters, but it was also the hometown of the Youth League’s very own Meyvn. Nooj grew up in Kilika under the care of his parents and grandfather, who he admired greatly. Life was peaceful for him until the day came where he decided to join the Crusaders. It was one that his parents were initially against, but he had his grandfather's full support.
Nooj remembers it well, the day he left. His mother was sobbing and though his father had tears in his eyes, he kept a stiff upper lip. Despite their wishes against his choice, his parents were proud. His grandfather was the only one to speak to him that day, wishing him luck before he left.
Little did Nooj know, he would never see them again.
After his run in with sin, word was sent out to the families of fallen crusaders. Nooj's family was aware of his critical condition and not much else. They sent letters, begging for him to be sent home to them, but it was impossible. Were they to send him on such a journey, he may not have survived.
Recovery for Nooj was surprisingly rapid, so said the healers, but it was never fast enough for Nooj, who was eager to return to the line of duty. He refused to return home defeated, despite letters from his parents saying how proud they were. Soon after his body healed, Nooj joined the Crimson Squad. Shortly after is when news reached him of Kilika's destruction by Sin, and though he was heartbroken such news gave him all the more reason to be where he was.
Nooj did not return to Kilika until after forming the Youth League where he would, with help from the members, rebuild his home.
