First of all I LOVE HER NEW ALBUM SM

And I just listened again to the song BLUE since I saw this ask and my godddd… 🫠

You are so right! Beyond the obvious parallel that Loki was actually “born blue” there’s the narrative element that he was doomed by those around him to a life of hardship and melancholy (thus doomed to be “blue” figuratively also).

The song opens with lines that could be interpreted to reflect Loki’s struggles as he learns of his adoption and different ancestry… and how he still longs for acceptance even though he puts up a front like he doesn’t care 💙🥺

I try to live in black and white, but I’m so blue. I'd like to mean it when I say I'm over you, but that's still not true. And I'm still so blue. I thought we were the same; birds of a feather, now I'm ashamed.

There are other parallels in the song, too, but I got chills during this part:

You were born reachin’ for your mother’s hands; victim of your father’s plans to rule the world.

If that’s not Loki then I don’t know what is… 🥺😭
