Hey Critical Role fandom! 

In celebration of Pride month, we’re thrilled to announce PRIDE: A Critical Role Zine centered around celebrating, you guessed it, LGBTQ+ characters. 

Right now we’re still setting our tumblr up and working on the application, but stay tuned for more information and spread the word. 

PRIDE is a non-profit zine with all proceeds going to 826LA, Critical Role’s charity of choice. None of the contributors nor the organizers are making money off of the zine.

Hello!

My name is Elliot. I’m a QTPOC student struggling with mental illness as I get through college. I am incredibly fortunate to have top surgery scheduled for this upcoming February, something I’ve wanted and needed for years, but it’s expensive. In order to pay, I’m turning to tumblr to help raise money. 

I’ve already put the downpayment and right now I need over $5,000 more dollars before this is a certainty. Right now, my life is dominated by my chest. I bind for upwards of ten hours a day thanks to my school schedule and dysphoria. I can’t dance, I can’t exercise. Getting top surgery will help me literally breathe easier and live to the fullest. 

Even the smallest donation would help, but barring that a reblog would mean a great deal. I’m also doing commissions and if you donate I’ll write an extra thousand words for free – that is, if you pay for one thousand words, you’ll get two thousand and so on.

It’s four am and I have never related to a post more

Can I just say how much I love that Matt had Gilmore change his last name? Not because that’s necessarily in of itself great but because of how real that is – 

I cannot count the number of friends I have who just nod when someone mispronounces their name after being corrected (or have given up correcting people)

I have heard so many stories of people wanting to change their names to be ‘more acceptable’ (which really means ‘more white’) 

And Gilmore is just, like, the epitome of every immigrant going to a country and wanting to make a life for themself. He’s worked hard and become successful and his parents are proud of him ok
