i understand ariana grande has been through alot but i wish people would stop using that as an excuse whenever she messes up. her appropriating cultures. her darkening her skin tone and changing her to look. her profiting off different cultures. her joking about the death of a child who was murdered. even she uses what she’s been through as an excuse. when she got called out for joking about the death of jonbenet her excuse was “dark jokes are my coping mechanism.” like dude again i know she’s been through sh*t i understand i get it but come on stop excusing her behavior. stop saying we must educate her. there’s only so much people can do. she’s grown i know she’s aware of alot of things! i know humans mess up it’s life but making excuse after excuse instead of just facing your f*ck ups doesn’t help. guilt tripping your fans by using your personal problems as an excuse for your behavior is messed up and it just gives you more and more room to just f*ck up over and over again knowing you can just guilt trip your fans into forgiving you because of what you’ve been through. it’s not right to me and i’m sorry but i had to say something.
