Hoperai Week  -  Wedding Ring | Awe

Anything that I could say right now, Would only be a pale reflection of what I feel. Won’t you let me just look at you, Our eyes are the windows to Our souls, and they will show, One another all there is to know, About the things that I’d like you to understand. Hold my hand and listen with your skin, Let your inner senses take me in, and We will go beyond words. —- Marketa Irglova, "This Right Here"

Crystal

Prompt: Awe

Pairing: Hope/Lightning

Another contribution for hoperaiweek this year, just a side note that this one is rather short compared to the other contributions I’ve made.

There was always something about crystals the wondered Hope Estheim, the young director, but it wasn’t until he saw her, that made him understand why.

In the time of crystals and legends, a world filled with chaos, where it and Valhalla are now combined, it wouldn’t be surprising what one might find in ruins.

Awe

written for hoperaiweek awe; au. actually a direct continuation to dress up, which I wrote for hoperai week last year :D

Hope generally considered himself a very patient man. It simply wasn’t in his nature to act otherwise.

But judging from the way he absolutely could not stand still, he had a feeling he was basically projecting nothing but impatience to everyone who passed him by…not that many people would notice, he was sure. There was too much else to look at in Yusnaan.

Like, of course, other people.

But not the right person…

Post-Apocalyptic World

written for hoperaiweek

post-apocalyptic world; game-verse kinda?

When Lightning opened her eyes, the first thing she was painfully aware of was the presence of time. It was a difficult thing to pinpoint, but unlike when she’d been in Valhalla, she was all too aware of things moving forward. Nothing happened all at once - it had or it hadn’t.

The next thing she was aware of were the sound of waves crashing onto the shore. That was shocking, because the waves that lapped the shore of Valhalla were silent…or at least, they’d always appeared that way to her, because of the constant battles.

Lightning finally blinked her eyes completely open, sucking in a breath as she staggered to her feet. This area looked…familiar.

And so the world ends

Prompt: a post-apocalyptic world  Rating: G A/N: And here it comes, the angst piece. This is basically an apocalypse within an apocalypse. It’s kinda funny. Apocalypception.

The Unforgotten Bets [Hoperai Week 6th Prompt]

So it’s March 6th, and here comes my sixth work for today’s prompt, A post-apocalyptic world.

This one is one of the longest. And also one of my favorites too. I really, really enjoyed writing this one. I laughed a lot as well. I hope you like it, too.

Now I have to write and translate the last work for Hoperai Week. Wish me inspiration for later!

Hoperai Week: a post-apocalyptic world

(Okay…. First time writing something for this week….)

"How long do you think this’ll last?" Hope murmured.

"I don’t know," Lightning gazed at him. "But don’t expect much because no one is coming here to help."

"Oh."

There it was again, the awkward silence lurking back into the room. The silence had been making its way back into their conversations since the day the two met, not surprising though.

"Well," he spoke up. "We still have each other…. I-I mean I’m here to help you!"

In seconds, she had a smirk on her face. “Shhh…” Lightning shushed with her finger over her mouth.

"Oh, yeah sorry." His ears became red from embarrassment.

"I’ll be there to help you too…." She muttered, looking down.

Hope’s face was flushed pink, burning hot as the blood rushed to his head. “I-I’ll try to protect you.”

Looking over at Lightning, he saw that she had fallen asleep.

Hope sighed with a little relief. “Goodnight, Light.”

A Light in the Darkness

for hoperaiweek, based on this adorable fanart :D

It was a peaceful evening. Honestly, Hope could never ask for anything more than a quiet night at home just getting lost in a book.

Of course, there was a huge bonus to this, because he had an amazing girlfriend over in the kitchen making coffee for them. He supposed no everyone staying home at night could say that…

He’d just gotten to an exciting chapter when, without warning, the entire house was plunged into darkness.

The power went out? He frowned and set the book outside, quickly getting to his feet. It was pitch black in the house, and there wasn’t much light outside to aide him.

"Hope?"

"Light?" Who else would it be? "Where are you?"

"In the kitchen." There was a muffled noise that sounded like something being set down - maybe the mugs for the coffee. "I’m coming over."

"I’m in the - " he began to reply, but…

BAM!

There was a long pause. Hope didn’t know whether to attempt to rush to Lightning’s side or laugh. “Did you just…hit your head?”

"…"

"Light?"

"…I didn’t see the doorway."

This time, he couldn’t hide the laugh in his tone as he slowly started to try and make his way to the kitchen in an attempt to meet her halfway. “Really? That’s kind of ironic.”

"Why?" Her voice was pretty close by.

"Your name is Light,” he teased. “Perhaps now it should be for Lightbulb instead of Lightning…

"Very funny." She didn’t sound amused, but somehow, he could just tell that she was smiling. "Maybe we should find a flashlight.

"Hmm." They finally found each other in the darkness, fumbling to reach for each other’s hands. "Or…we could find a way to get upstairs and do things that shouldn’t see the light of day.”

Now he could tell that she was smiling, and proved it when she leaned up and kissed him, their noses bumping together. “As long as we can keep all of our limbs intact.”

He grinned. “Challenge accepted.”

A Light in the Darkness Where Hope becomes Lightning’s savior

So like last year, I’m helping Laura out with Hoperai week except this week i decided to draw alog with the fanfic. If anything’s inaccurate I’m really sorry; I tried getting the colors and designs as accurate as I could and don’t mind the blurs I think the camera and the filter picked up alot on the overlapping colors and blends.
