[[Okay, i’m starting to transfer some stuff over to the other blog. DO NOT PANIC, THINGS ARE BEING MOVED OVER.
Probably one of the major changes occuring is that I have decided to make the blog private. There are a lot of reasons for this. Time is the main factor. I just don’t have a lot of it, and I prefer to spend it interacting with blogs that interest me. This isn’t to say people still can’t send me asks or memes, these will still be open to everyone, but all roleplay related interactions will now be reserved for mutuals only.
I’ve always kept my blogs semi-selective, cause I really really really love interacting with people, and I believe that peeps can surprise you. I like to keep myself open for interaction, but it also kind of leads me down the path of accepting more threads then I can handle and getting anxious when I have to say no to people. I’m hoping this will ease up a little of that burden and give me a chance to limit how often I get overwhelmed with threads.]]

Papyrus gives a carefully wrapped present and a card to his brother. The card is ridiculously cute, obviously meant for children, and says "HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY", which he added "ON THE SURFACE" beneath it. Inside the card he'd written "HERE'S LOOKING FORWARD TO MANY MORE!" In the present are several pairs of skeleton socks.
The card is full of brilliant white sparkles and has some kind of cartoon human in a vibrant yellow smiling on the cover. It’s easy to think that Papyrus must have picked it up by accident; It’s clearly the kind of card reserved for human children, but then his eyes fall on the big block letters scrawled out upon the cover in Papyrus confident hand and....
....and he gets it.
He gets it a little too well, and for a long time, Sans doesn’t move, his smile frozen as he opens the card and reads the inside, turns it over in his hands, takes in all the hopes and dreams personified in those 6 little words.

He wants to say thank you. He wants to say that’s the smartest thing he’s ever seen. He wants to make some dumb joke about one being the perfect age for him, or maybe he should stop staring at the card and go onto the gift, but he can’t.
He can’t say a word. He can’t take his eyes off it. He can’t stop the way his hands tremble with the first true measure of time and it’s forward movement.

Sans blinks. A tear unexpectedly falls onto the card. He looks startled, but there’s more in his sockets and he’s trying to hide his face, chuckling behind an embarrassed smile. “wow....heheh...just....s’great.... thanks....thanks bro...”

[it’s his birthday, and it’s the first birthday he can recall in ages. There’s sunshine outside the window, and the ground is kissed with frost. The trees lost their leaves and yesterday he and Pap spent the whole afternoon jumping through giant piles of them and...]
His breath hitches and he’s hugging the card close and crying. He doesn’t mean to be crying. He doesn’t want to be crying, but now that he’s started, he’s unsure how to stop, unsure how to explain that its not from any kind of sadness or heartbreak.
He’s crying because he thinks this might actually be the happiest day of his life.

HAITUS UPDATE + Announcements

S’up guys, So the Haitus has actually been a nice, much needed break for me. Here’s an update on stuff that’s going on:
- So, my finger is pretty much healed up. I still have to wear the brace until the 14th and like...physio is still a thing I need to do, but I can cheat a little more now that the stitches are off.
- I got some vacation days coming up. I’ll be off from work from the 9th to the 15th. I’m planning on coming back to tumblr on the 10th (I would on the 9th but ahahahha,it’smybirthday)
- IN THE MEANTIME, I’ve been thinking of revamping the blog. When I started roleplaying as Sans I had absolutely no fucking idea what I was doing xD. Now that this blog is almost a year old, I have a better idea of who Sans is, and like, How I want things organized. So, coming off Haitus, I might bring you a brand spanking new blog and archive this one.
- On that note, this is going to involve dropping some threads. I still have to go through my list and see what I want to keep/what I want to let go. This does not mean that all the plots I’ve discussed with people are gonna go down the drain- I just want to maybe clean out my load a little and start on a fresh note.
Thats about it. Also, I forgot to mention that while my finger was doing it’s best impression of frankenstein’s monster, I HIT 1000 FOLLOWERS AND I DUNNO WHAT TO DO ABOUT THAT. LIKE, Y,
