&&. is not like her whole speech was a lie but let’s be real, besides not having time - does eunji really have any patience to take care of an animal with 4 legs and some kind of “basic needs” like eating? not sure about that. ‘’more… independent? is that actually a thing, jaehyun?’’, the actress laughs, isn’t it obvious that her knowledge on animals is almost none? yet she finds his words hilarious. ‘’a cat.. why do you think it’d suit me well?’’, eunji asks, this time actually interested in the matter, how come a cat could suit her - the older female thought she had already heard every single stupid thing on earth but she was wrong. ‘’my knowledge in animals is so minimal, i might need to take some classes from you’’

❝ definitely !! even though some pets like affection, a lot of pets can primarily be independent. ❞ he's not an expert in animals himself, but he's been to numerous pet stores plenty of times to learn some basics. he begins leaning onto his elbow, a hand holding his head up as he eyed at her with a small smile. ❝ cats are known for being independent, and other than refilling their food bowl and occasionally changing the kitty litter, they can take care of themselves pretty well. ❞ he paused, before reaching over to poke her cheek, ❝ cats can be quiet, and i feel like you'd appreciate that when running over your lines. plus cats are really cute. you and your cat will be cute together. ❞ jaehyun can't help but laugh at her next statement, shaking his head modestly to go against her compliment. ❝ ah, my knowledge isn't that large. i just know the basics— you learn a lot when you're constantly adopting puppies, i guess. ❞

“Jaehyun!” Zoey called from across the room, finger pointing out towards him, finally finding the exact person she was waiting for for what seemed like hours. “Don’t you move a single muscle! let me help. it looks heavy.” She says running over to him- happy to see her long time friend but sad that it took him nearly a half hour longer than he said he was going to take getting their food, “This is why we should have gotten it delivered.” She says taking a bag from him and placing it down on a table a few feet away, “Were they busy?” @ikjaehyun

the male freezes as soon as his name is called out, chuckling as she made her way over to him to help with the bags. technically, the load he was carrying wasn't very heavy at all, but when the elevators were under maintenance, the stairs became his worst enemy very quickly. ❝ ah, thank you. i'm also really sorry i'm late... ❞ he followed after her, setting the remaining bags onto the table with a smile. since she was busy with promotions, they haven't seen each other much— he was ready to spend time with one of his longest friends. ❝ there was an accident in the back, i think... it's okay though, right? i should've just ordered from somewhere else... ❞

it’s quite late at night, and hyeon almost feels bad for what he’s about to do. but if there’s one thing he is, it’s a perfectionist (or “easily lost,” which is probably the true reason he’s waking up jaehyun at one in the morning—- hyeon can hardly find the practice room by himself in the day, much less in the dark of night). nevertheless, he’s something comical, squinting in the moonlight and squatted over his fellow vocalist. one hand precariously tips a glass over jaehyun’s forehead, slowly dribbling cold water onto the junior as hyeon pokes his cheek with a forefinger and whispers,

“jaehyun-ah. ryu jaehyun. jaehyun-ah. wake up. i’m bored. i need to practice my singing, and i need somebody to listen. it’ll just be for an hour or two—- jaehyun-ah. wake up.”

jaehyun isn't known for being the type to sleep very often, but when he did manage to kick a few hours of it into his schedule, best believe that he'd appreciate if no one interrupted. so when he felt a cold sensation hit his face ( curse him for being a rather light sleeper ) he jolted awake, uncomfortable with the feeling. ❝ yah !! ❞ suddenly he was beginning to regret sleeping at the dorms tonight— his penthouse wasn't even that far. wiping away the water with his blanket, he turned to the perpetrator, a glare set on his face before he realized who it was.

❝ hyuuunnnng, ❞ he groaned, a permanent pout now on his lips, ❝ why would you do that? is something wrong? you know, i was sleeping— and that was a rude awakening !! ❞

       Gyuri let out a breath and then a small laugh “ Sorry Jaehyun, I hope I didn’t scare you if I did. I just thought no one was in here so that is why I got scared “ she explained as he seemed to be a bit confused. The dancer shouldn’t have been that surprised, Jaehyun from time to time came early to the practice rooms and the female knew that very well. She just guessed that she hadn’t been expecting him to be here.

“ Are you going to practice or something ? “ she asked a little curious and wondered if she should just leave him be and just get herself some coffee and do something else with her time and maybe find another practice room if any of them were free for today

❝ i’m okay, ❞ he reassured, ❝ i was just a little shocked; i didn’t think anyone would come in either. ❞ or at least, he didn’t think anyone would be coming in this early in the morning. ❝ i’m sorry for scaring you too, noona. ❞ ( sure, there were already staff here who had arrived earlier than him, but that was too be expected. ) he gave her a wide smile, beckoning her to come inside.

he patted the spot beside him in the middle of the room, while his other hand held his phone, scrolling through his library to look for songs to play. ❝ i was just about to warm up. i’m assuming you’re here to dance before you have to work, so why not just warm up together? ❞ he then paused, his gaze flicking towards her for a moment with his grin becoming more subtle. ❝ unless you don’t warm up? everyone does things differently. ❞

the rapper trainee felt himself snort at the predicament the elder had placed himself in. with all the sneaking around the diamond vocalist did, one would think that he would be a professional at it by now. but still, jaehyun was one of his close seniors so it would be wrong of joon to turn him away – as well as the bribe for tonight’s dinner. “you’re lucky, hyung. most of the staff on this level already went down to the cafeteria.” joon reassured the other as he gathered his things into his bag and slung it on his shoulder. “no one takes the back staircase because it’s inconvenient. we’ll get you out in no time.” and with that, he began leading his hyung out of the practice room. “just don’t act suspicious.”

he didn’t exactly know how he had gotten so far into the building without being caught beforehand, but if joon was right ( jaehyun didn’t necessarily doubt him either ) than most of the staff would’ve been away already. sure, the idol has been at the building before— usually in disguise and waiting for bongki, but he usually waited outdoors where he wouldn’t be in trouble. the older male slid his face make back up to cover half of his face, though he was sure that it was evident he was smiling. ❝ i don’t think i’ve ever been inside these buildings before— it looks smaller from the outside. ❞ jaehyun followed behind diligently, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he kept close to the other. ❝ i’m an actor, i think i can do this— ❞ he paused as a staff member passed by them, smiling at the both of them. ❝ maybe we should stay in the practice rooms... ❞

“I was joking.” She tilted her head as if him returning the banter was something out of the ordinary. “And no, it’s not a corpse. That would be much larger. But would you really be surprised? Who knows what I do in my spare time.”

Sora raised her shoulder slightly to emphasize the bag. “ Don’t worry…It’s just the torso.”

❝ i was sincerely hoping you were. ❞ he smiled, stifling a laugh with the back of his hand. he doesn’t exactly remember the last time they had spoken properly, face to face, especially since she was currently promoting with the rest of heaven. ❝ i never stated what creature the corpse belongs to. but honestly? not really. you always seem to be busy so i wouldn’t be surprised if you spent your time carrying corpses around. ❞ he gave her an expression of fictitious disgust, scrunching his nose momentarily at her words. ❝ you’re lucky it’s only me that you ran into i guess. ❞

bongki’s face twisted into a rather confused expression, where did his sweet little jaehyun go? the one he met when he was still a crystal trainee. alas, jaehyun was still doe-eyed and charming young man who took his heart. “ nah, i think i would risk more for you.“ he teased, a laugh escaping his lips. ” what do you want jaehyun-ah? the moon? i'll give you the moon.“ bongki knew his rather tacky words would make jaehyun flustered, but honestly, his own words made him cringe. “ i think we would all know we would have watched it like three hundred times.” and bongki felt like he wasn’t being dramatic - if bongki and a puppy was drowning, jaehyun would most likely would save the puppy.” don’t underestimate me come on, i’m scary i swear.” though his face was filled with affection towards the younger. “ hm, it wouldn’t be revenge if i told you,” his fingers finding themselves at the younger’s sides and tickling the idol. “ but be warn ryu jaehyun, i’m coming for you.”

the younger male could only pull back him his boyfriend, a sputtering mess as he tried to think of a reply to those cheesy statements. as embarrassing as hearing them were, he couldn’t help the blush that crept up on his cheeks. ❝ yah !! be quiet !! ❞ he hit the other’s chest playfully, before he gave a forced grin so that he wouldn’t end up laughing. ❝ i don’t need that— i already have the only moon i need right here. ❞ jaehyun poked his boyfriend’s cheek repeatedly, giggles finally escaping him at his own terrible corny statement with a mix of a pun inside. ( if you asked jaehyun, yes, he would want to disappear from the world right then. that was so bad and he knew it. ) he rolled his eyes, not finding bongki’s words too favorable even if they were true. any movie with animals in it were always watched over and over. ❝ correction: you were scary. or at least, you’re not scary to me. you’re kind of just a big teddy bear now, you know— ❞ before he could continue, he yelped as the soloist began attacking him, boisterous laughter spilling from him disabling him from forming coherent words. ❝ y-yah— why— st— stop— hyung !! mo-movie !! th-the m-mo-vie !! ❞

“sunbae, listen, i’m not saying we should go and visit that new adoption center that just opened near the j soul building but… we totally should.” two weeks. that’s how long it had been since sunmi had last been able to properly sit down and talk to the man who was one of the main reasons why she was as proud of and as confident in her voice as she was today. there weren’t a lot of people that sunmi would openly admit to being thankful to, but ryu jaehyun was definitely one of them. for, without him, she most definitely wouldn’t be where she was today —- or at least that’s what she liked to think. “it’s been a while since we hung out and i just, you know, thought it’d be nice to spend time together. i mean, if you’re free, of course.”

his interest was immediately piqued at the words ‘adoption center’, and he was already nodding before she could finish her sentence. ❝ actually, ❞ he began, ❝ i had been meaning to go since i heard of its opening day !! i just... i have never found the time in between my busy schedule. we’re on break from promotions, but it still seems as if i never rest. ❞ he was exaggerating, as in reality he’s been getting more sleep than he’s ever had during promotions, but he wasn’t exactly lying: he still had schedules here and there. ❝ we should go. right now. ❞ he smiled at the younger girl, closing his notebook and standing abruptly. she was right— it had been a long time since they have properly spent time together. after all, since they were both idols now, their schedules often conflicted with each other more than he’d like them to. ❝ how can i pass up the opportunity to go see cute animals with my favorite disciple? ❞ he teased, ruffling her hair, ❝ it’ll be fun. maybe you can help me decide on who to adopt. ❞

&&. ‘’jaehyun-ah’’, eunji finally interrupts the idol - after hours and hours of him talking about his dog or some type of shit that eunji is too lazy to even catch, she can’t take his soft heart and words over his animals anymore, it was making her cringe too much for her own liking. ‘’hearing you talk about your animals like that makes me wanna have some, it’s a shame i don’t spend that much time at home you know.. i’m too afraid of them feeling lonely’’, she adds with a giggle. not a lie but also not the truth at the same time but having some kind of friendship and things in common with jaehyun was good for her ( meaning: money ). too much of a materialistic? maybe.

he stops mid-sentence at the sound of his name falling from her lips, a bashful grin on his face as he finally realized he had been, once again, rambling into oblivion. an exaggeration, yes, but he could probably talk passionately about his four dogs until his very last breath. he gives her an apologetic smile, before his gaze aimed upward, thinking of what she could possibly do to fix her problem. ❝ pets are therapeutic, noona, you can’t not have one. maybe you should get a pet that can be more independent if you’re scared of them feeling lonely. ❞ he wasn’t really sure how their friendship really began, but he’s always heard that the wealthy always flock together, so he didn’t necessarily question it much. ❝ what about a cat? cats are cute. a cat would suit you well !! ❞

A little amusing, a little annoying. Still, she couldn’t help but reveal a little smirk before catching herself. “Jae..,I was trying to avoid squishing past you with this big bag of mine.” Sora lifted her arm to show the leather tote she was carrying. “But if you’re going to refuse to move then I’ll need to find another way to get past. What? You want me to somersault between your legs or something?”

of course he didn't miss her bag—- but that was the whole point of what he was doing. it didn't take a genius to see that she probably still could've fit between him and the walls, even with that giant bag of hers. ❝ if you can barely fit between me and the walls right now, what makes you think you can somersault between my legs? ❞ at that, he stood properly once again, his hands finding their way to his empty pockets as he stared at her. ❝ what do you have in that bag anyway? a corpse? ❞

    Gyuri hadn’t been working for a very long time at Crystal but she considered everyone there as her family no matter if she knew them a lot or not. It wasn’t that late in the morning and the dancer fixed her bag as she walked in into the entertainment building ready to start the day. She didn’t necessarily have a busy day but she felt she would be more productive in the dance practice room then at home.

The female greeted everyone she passed by and quickly made her way over to the dance room. Opening the room she jumped as she saw Jaehyun, the main vocal from Diamond there “ Omo !! “ she shrieked before placing her hand on her chest “ jeez you scared me “

it wasn't very unusual to see jaehyun in the practice room early in the mornings. although it did provoke confused and sometimes worried glances with his history with practicing in general, he was always keeping himself in check just to ensure that nothing bad was necessarily happening inside the room. he had woken up with an odd amount of energy, so he decided he'd slip out of his apartment to use up that energy to practice some new and old diamond routines. there was no harm in that, right?

he hadn't been in the room for long when the doors opened once again, revealing the intrudor to actually be one of crystal's choreographers. her words caused him to tilt his head, unsure of what exactly she was talking about. ❝ what do you mean? ❞ he paused, giving her his full attention with a perplexed grin. ❝ if anyone should be scared, it should be me; wasn't it you who walked in on me? ❞
