Roses Farm, a cottage dating back to around 1285 (via).
Hello! I haven’t been here in so long. I mostly use Instagram now. But recently I was thinking about how relaxing and inspiring it is to be on tumblr (even though it sucks sometimes) and I wanted to be active here again.
I’ve been really depressed these past few weeks but I’m trying to drag myself out of it...
Love your Snufkin cosplay, you're very pretty!
Thank you! 😊❤️
Hogwarts subjects | Herbology
Herbology is the study of magical and mundane plants and fungi, making it the wizarding equivalent to botany. Herbology is a core class and subject taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, in which students learn to care for and utilize plants, learn about their magical properties and what they are used for. Many plants provide ingredients for potions and medicine, while others have magical effects of their own right.
Not to be furiously antimodern but everything you make is art and you can minimize it all you want by calling it a hobby or a craft or a hyperfixation but it’s art because you created it and humans just make art because it’s what we do and it can’t be good or bad because it just IS and when you make art you are part of something very beautiful and very human
Knitting is art! Baking is art! Interior decorating is art! Your fashion is art! Your hair is art! Gardening is art! Sewing is art! The fried rice you made yesterday is ART, BUDDY.
This isn’t the best representation, since the photos are incongruous, hence why there are some items and plants present in two places at once. Also I switched up the living room and removed the rug for the summer season, etc etc
No bedroom photos because it’s not tidy at the moment... I’ll get around to it at some point.
A few snaps of my kitchen, which is feeling quite finished now, aside from a bit more organizing of the cupboards that I am planning. I’m pretty happy with it. Now I should do the dishes...
Oops I haven’t been here in a while
I’m doing better actually I was switched to a new medication a month or so ago and it’s working well. I still have down moments a lot but overall I feel more normal. I’ve been eating better and walking more, so far I’ve lost 12 pounds. Also I got a juvenile giant day gecko a while back and she’s super cute and lovely. She just came on to my hand for the first time last night. She was very antsy at first so I’m happy she’s becoming more comfortable with me. She eats so much and she’s very active and curious
Also great news is that I’m finally getting a Biopod. It’s a super fancy vivarium system that you control with your smart phone. Built in heating, Misting, camera inside, filtration, living wall (so you can grow plants on the wall) and ventilation, ultra clear low iron glass (it looks like there’s no glass at all, I swear that’s how clear it is) I’ve wanted one for like 3~ years now but I never got one because the prices are insane (the Aqua model retails for over $1000 Canadian)
But a guy I know didn’t have space for his in his store anymore so he’s selling it for a really low price, and it includes the beautiful plants inside of it!! I’m going to re plant it and switch things around to make it my own though. I’m so lucky to be getting it for such a good price

“I’ll come when it suits me. Perhaps I shan’t come at all. I just may set off in another direction entirely.”
What can i say, it’s science
It was dim and rainy today but I got a few photos. Hoping to do a better photo shoot later when I’m back home
Today was wonderful!! Also incredibly exhausting and I’m about to crash.... goodnight
