MC is highly experienced in physical love because it is their ability. When it comes to romance particularly, certainly they are able to fake love, but when it comes to true love, that is the greater question. Aemion: As the gentlemen he is, he's gone out on dates and kissed, but it has never escalated farther than that. As the next emperor, it is dangerous to sleep around with nobles due to the potential of an heir.

Lucius: He has attempted to hit on women, but ultimately comes off as being mean. He is the type of boy in the playground that would bully you to get your attention. Elysia: Due to her kind nature, she has had several people mistake her friendliness for love and go on dates without realizing it. Her personality makes it easy for her to be romantic. Innocent physical touch is easy for her, but anything sexual in nature is a completely different ball game.

Azriel: The most experienced. He's slept around and enjoys indulging in human greed. However, he has no idea what love truly is and romance is not in his vocabulary. Syren: Syren is an asexual character. While they have dabbled in physical pleasures in the past, they prefers to stay away and use non-sexual physical touch. They have had several lovers, using the exchange of romantic words, feelings, and soft caresses on the skin.

A lot of inspiration does come from "The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother!" I really liked the villain aspect of that webtoon which I turn, wanted to make myself :) I haven't read the second one, but I definitely will read it because I love all content that revolves around this type of plot!

Yeah - so I had to think a long while for the age at which powers appear. It wouldn't make sense for the other powers to appear later, just for the main MC's power. Especially since the other characters will have to practice with their powers from a young age to become as overpowered as they are. In the story, I will not be going into details on the training - rather the events that happen during your childhood. But yes, your powers in a sense does mess up your perception of people (in the sense, where people are just too easy to manipulate). Also, during your training rather than using your powers, you will be taught more psychological stuff like the art of manipulation + human nature. Your powers are unique in nature, where you need to learn how to manipulate circumstances to use them properly rather than exert them on others. Uniquely, there is no increase in the strength of your powers the more you use them. Rather, it is the circumstances you use them in + and how intense the love is from your victims.

Powers appear on their twelfth birthday. They will first emerge in the form of a dream - a scene of adult you, using the powers in a dire situation. The dreams are very vivid, with all senses activated for a complete experience. The longer you sleep, the more significant the initial power is when you are awake.

Each Household has a different distinctive personality that matches the power. Overall, having a specific ability will build particular life experiences that shape your view of the world. For example, since the Father bears the capacity of torture, he would create life experiences that revolve around increasing his powers, hence his cold-hearted nature.

Trauma can influence the powers as activation is done through your mind. Having a weak disposition will weaken your powers due to the mental block in your mind. Likewise, people like Azriel who have a high tolerance will thrive. Trauma works particularly well with Viridescent powers, but it would not work as well for the House of Ashen. Though really, it depends on the type of trauma being exhibited.

You cannot change the base foundation of your powers; however, you can use them uniquely to serve a different purpose, which may shape them to become different. For example, although Lucius's shield is mainly defensive, practice and mental trauma may turn it into a weapon. You can also unlock additional abilities that build onto your initial powers (but will not go into too much detail).

You can make someone unable to use their powers if you give them enough mental trauma against their abilities to completely block them from using it. If you make them scared or hate their ability to a deep-rooted level.

The family does have strong opinions on the ROs. Although each member (the Father, Ophir, and Solandis) has slightly different thoughts.

Out of all the ROs, the Viridescent hate Aemion the most due to his position as the next emperor. Furthermore, someone who can merely tell lies from the truth does not have the physical power to rule the Kingdom. Aemion needs to rely on the other Households like Azriel and Lucius for manpower in battle. The Viridescent goal is to completely exterminate all Gold blood to reach their end goal of ruling the empire.

Lucius is viewed neutrally. His shield would help in a battle, and having him like an alley is better than an enemy. The family can use his weak disposition of caring too much for his people to their advantage. As long as Lucius does not go against them, he will survive. However, his power does clash with Ophir - and there are mixed feelings.

Solandis mainly does not like Elysa due to her healing nature and personality. However, overall the family does not have bad feelings toward Elysa. She is weak in a one-on-one battle and easy to kill. She is also easy to manipulate and holds no political power within the Five Households. Ophir may view Elysa uniquely, though you cannot say it is favorable.

Azriel is the biggest obstacle in terms of manpower. Despite having a shaky relationship with the Royal Family of Gold, he has not betrayed them. The Viridescents will have to find a way to dispose of him fast, or else they will not succeed. He is also too volatile of a piece to consider an alley. He is better dead than alive.

Overall, the family does not like Syren. They are too intelligent and cunning and can betray them if necessary. Syren's survival instincts may cause the Viridescent to fail if they keep them as an alley. In particular, Ophir hates Syren the most. Their powers can clash as they are hiding-related, and Ophir does not like flamboyant personalities.

The ??? Character is viewed very favorably by the Viridescent Household.

I love writing psychological type of stories that involves twisting and playing with my reader's emotions. The characters are already pretty alive in my mind, and I can see the direction the routes. Let's all burn in Azriel's fire together 😌

Yes! Not being sexually attracted to the RO's but still pursuing a Love Interest Route is the main route [not sure what you mean by flavor text, but I will try to answer the best I can]! You will be able to fully experience the dark romance and use your powers to their full potential. The charming part of this scenario is that you are more cruel and twisted - in the sense that you are able to make more manipulative decisions that will add spice to the game. Have the RO's at the palm of your fingers. The internal dialogue will be reflective of this.

Nope! You can definitely have your family succeed without betrayal. Depending on the route that you pick as you've said. All RO endings are very different, and there is not one that is the same whether it be a happy or sad ending. I will give no names cause spoilers!!

LOL SO TRUE! I'm actually really interested to see what type of routes people will take once I finish. Since I know right now, nobody is too attached to any characters but as the story progresses, it would be a harder choice.
