          Okay, maybe she should stop talking. Lila really didn’t want to disturb her fellow classmate, especially considering that this was someone she wanted to befriend. Hopefully she didn’t seem like too much of a loser, with her fidgeting and whatnot. And the quick glances she kept giving the canvas to see how it was all turning out.

          “Huh. No kidding. But you guys also seem so…so…” Happy. Lila’s voice trailed off before she could say it, but it was obvious. Around them, there were people chatting, genuinely enjoying each other’s company. Athletic Kim with nerdy Max, girly Rose with gothic Juleka, the list went on. It was unusual for sure; most of the schools Lila had attended previously contained students that wanted nothing more than to fit in and be like everyone else. But here? Everyone was, indeed, different.

          Maybe she could be accepted here someday.

alya: quintessence. u would think marinette would be quintessence because it is pink and will is the leader but will can talk to electronics and thats the most alya thing ive ever heard.

marinette: water. they cant both be quintessence and irma can make outfits change colors. do you have any idea how ABOUT THAT marinette would be??

juleka: earth. you’d think rose cause her name is rose but jules would make lots of pretty flowers grow and people would be like “oh, how pretty!” and then she would cut the flower part off. juleka doesnt give a fuck

lila: fire. taranee is telepathic and that would be really useful for someone like lila. plus since water and fire are opposites it sort of fuels the rivalry between her and marinette that would be inherently different without the existence of ladybug

nino, adrien, kim and max are in here too somewhere??
