Title: ORCHiDELiRiUM Word Count: 14,390 words Pairing: Cluck x Kanzai Summary: ORCHiDELiRiUM: the name given to a period of time where the acquisition and discovery of rare orchid plants reached a fever pitch among the collectors and enthusiasts of the wealthy and titled. None were prized more highly than the rare Black Orchid, native to a small republic whose only access point was severed by a tremendous rockslide during the plant’s last cyclic bloom nearly seven years ago. Professional Botanical Hunter Cluck is contracted to not only recover a specimen of the rare flower, but protect it from any and all intruders. She is more than up for the first task, but for the second, she enlists the help of her colleague Kanzai, and the two find themselves battling mafia legions, the strangely misanthropic people of the once-isolated nation, and a living forest in pursuit of their prize. A/N: Written for the Hunter x Hunter Big Bang 2018 Challenge. Takes place an indeterminate amount of time pre-canon. Huge thanks to awitchyghost who will be doing some lovely art for this story! I am sorry for the delay, something unexpected came up on my last day I needed to work on this. Anyway I had the Fanfic for Killugon 12.

Summary: After Leorio’s suggestion for a new Rat proves nigh impossible to contact by conventional means, Mizaistom Nana is forced to track Kurapika down through his dealings in the black market trade of collectable human body parts. Assisting Mizaistom is Zepile, another one of Leorio’s genius suggestions, whose slick salesmanship, black market know-how, and criminal past prove as useful as they are a constant bone of contention between him and the famed “conscience of the Zodiacs”.

I got to illustrate this beautiful Leopika fic in which Kurapika hires Leorio as an escort even though they have… history for the @hxhbb18 and boy did all my Leopika feelings hit me again like a freight train from the past. Please read this fic, the characterisation and writing style is great and it’s a superb take on a modern au! Also, thanks to the mods for organising this Big Bang! It’s always nice to see so much content for hxh again. <3

My illustration for the amazing fic by @victorsandvanquishers - it’s called Ephemeral and you can find it on her Tumblr :D I absolutely loved it from start to finish - it gave me chills and also warmed my heart. If you love dark canon-compliant stories with a gripping plot, it’s a must read!

Choosing a scene to portray (all were SO awesome) proved so difficult that i decided to make a little summary of the entire work, in a visual form. It came out… intentionally hilarious. Don’t look under the cut if you have not read the fic. It contains MAJOR SPOILERS! I MEAN it!

My art for the hxhbb2018! I had fic Misc 7 and I quite enjoyed it!!!

Most of the time, Killua didn’t flaunt his skills.

“ Never show your hand until you’re ready to strike.” His father would tell him.

But Gon looked at him with an unadulterated admiration, that he found it difficult to say no. There was an abundance of curiosity and honesty that Gon’s personality exhibited, making him far easier to trust than most.

“Come closer,” Killua beckoned.

Gon stood by, only a foot apart from Killua. Killua concentrated until his hair stood on ends, little sparks of electricity lit up the tips of his fingers, until lines of sharp blue jolts connected themselves from both his hands. Both their faces illuminated with the light of Killua’s magic, and the soft bluish glow complemented the freckled skin of Gon’s face.

“Killua, that’s amazing,” Gon said breathlessly.

Here is my first of two pieces for this year’s @hxhbb18​! I got @ilostmykite​ as my writer, and I was very excited to be able to make art for them! Killua’s heart sped up, and he couldn’t stop the laughter that made its way deep into his throat.

That idiot, Killua thought fondly. Something far beyond magic connected him and Gon, and in his heart, he knew it was Gon who made it through that gate.

“Do you know something I don’t,” Kikyo asked her son, her brows furrowed. Although her eyes were covered by her signature vizor, he could almost feel her glare behind them.

“It’s Gon,” he smiled.

The sun’s rays filtered through their huge window causing a glaring light everywhere it touched. Killua found it hard to look at, but he embraced it nonetheless.

Gon would be here soon. He knew it.

Okay I hope I’m still in time? This is my piece for the @hxhbb18 , the fic is Troupe Misc 2 ( Soulmarks and Scars ) by @lissamems  

My piece is a bit chaotic cause I wanted to put a lot of things in it but I lack the skills to do it lol …hope it’s still understandable? It’s my first time doing something that’s not just a character standing around doing stuff sooo well I tried my best!

While I wasn’t able to do as ambitious a project as I usually like doing because of school, I still had a good time visualizing a small scene in the fic that I really liked the mood of. An exhausted warrior sleeping the night’s fight off in a cosy corner~
